"You guys have been doing great these past couple of weeks! Now, we won't be meeting again until after winter break since quite a few of you are leaving Hogwarts. Have a great Christmas and New Year! I'll see you all in 3 weeks!" Harry said to the members of Dumbledore's Army.

It had been almost three months since they started their secret Defense Against the Dark Arts class. There were quite a lot of kids who had joined and Harry finally accepted his "role" as teacher. Ava was one of the members and she had been trying to convince Draco to join, but for unknown reasons he refused. After awhile and a few arguments, Ava gave up. But, in the meantime, they had created a system. The nights that she had D.A. they would go to their classes and meet in the library or the Gryffindor towers to do homework or just to spend time together. Then when the time came, Ava would leave for D.A., Draco would go to dinner, and then once she was done, he would sneak her some food and they would eat together in her room. It was the perfect system.

Just as the D.A. meeting had ended, Ava remembered her and Professor McGonagall's talk and was know realizing that she had forgotten to tell Harry about their relation.

"Harry! Wait up, I have to tell you something!" Ava yelled, chasing after Harry.

"What you need Ava?" Harry said when she caught up to him.

"Professor McGonagall helped me realize something the other night."

"What might that be?"

"You don't know about our relation..."

"Relation? What are you talking about?" Said Harry with surprise in his tone.

"Harry we're cousins. Your father, James, had a sister. My mother. Angela Lockwood."

"This doesn't make sense, Remus and Sirius never mentioned my father had a sister. And you're a muggle born!"

"Remus and Sirius never knew about her probably. My mum is a squib and my dad is a muggle. She can can't do any magic, so people define my family as muggleborns, despite her technically being pureblood."

"But Sirius lived at my grandparents at 16. Didn't she live there?"

"She did but Harry don't you understand? Your dad was a Pureblood. My mum was a squib. Wouldn't you think the Fleamont and Euphemia would have be slightly ashamed that a long lasting Pureblood family line was ruined?"

"I suppose, but still. She would have been there at some point when Sirius lived there."

"Harry our grandparents were very proud people and very loyal to their family. But, they did what no one thought they would do. They locked her up Harry. They didn't let her leave the house except for muggle school, she got her breakfast, dinner, and lunches an hour after after everyone else ate and had to eat them in her room, james was forbidden to talk about her, and I suppose Sirius could have known, but because they weren't allowed to talk about it, he may have forgot. My mum stayed locked in her room up until she was 18."

"What happened?"

Ava now looked down at her hands, "she got pregnant at 16," Ava said quietly.

"Oh."

"And again at 17. And 18. When she was pregnant with her 3rd child, they forced her to leave and go live with my father."
