"How have we been dating for three months and you still have yet to take me on a proper date?"
They had been laying in Draco dormitory for about two hours. In their short time period of dating, Ava had only been in his room one other time. To Ava, it was strange being down there. It was so much darker and mustier down there than it was in the Gryffindor common room. Draco must have recognized her wariness whenever they considered going to the Slytherin dorms because he usually suggested they go to Ava's room. Plus, Ava made it very clear that she wasn't totally comfortable around Crabbe & Goyle, but was willing to slowly start hanging out with them if that was what Draco wanted. All he did when she said this was laugh and then went on about them being creepy blokes or something. In the end, he must not have been interested in them being friends because upon arrival to their dormitory, Draco immediately kicked them out.
They had been laying in Draco's bed, his arm around her, and they were playing with each others hands when Ava brought this up.
Sitting up, Draco looked at her, "Well, would you like one?"
"Well, of course," Ava rolled her eyes, "Don't you want to have some time alone with each other?"
"Why don't we go tomorrow? It's a Hogsmeade day and I reckon I know just the place to go."
Ava smiled, "It's a date."

Yesterday had gone by so fast, before Ava knew it, she was getting ready for her date. She called Ginny and Hermione up to her closet and let them go through her trunk of dresses to choose from. While they looked, Ava loosely curled her hair and did her makeup. During this they continuously talked.
"Do you know where he's taking you?" Hermione asked excitedly.
Shaking her head, she sighed, "I hope we have fun together. I've never actually been on a date. That bloke I dated in our third year never even talked to me the first two months of our relationship. It's so odd when I compare him with Draco, things got so serious between us so fast."
Ginny smirked, "Do you think you guys will take that next step soon?"
Ava blushed, but then said, "I don't know. Back when I was in the hospital wing, he told me that he was ready but that it was my choice and I know I want too, but is it too soon? We've only been dating for four months."
This time it was Hermione who spoke up, "I don't think how long you've been dating matters, it only matters if he's the right one for you."
"He definitely is."
Before Hermione could say anything else, Ginny shot up holding a rusty pink colored dress, "This is it! It'll look so cute!"

Grabbing the dress from Ginny, she ran to the bathroom to put the dress on. Her mum had given it to her last year when she went cleaning through their house. It was Angela's from when she was fifteen.
