"We're 5 Seconds of Summer." Holy fuck. It gets suddenly dark and Cody clings to me with both her hands now; she dropped the lantern. I back up a few steps and one of the boys laughs. The lantern turns back on a few seconds later and one of the twits is holding it.

"So do you need a ride?" He asks. I shake my head vigorously and pull Cody back towards our car. She's sort of struggling against me and I can tell she wants to stay with them. I guess it's because she's a fan, but I don't trust those dickwads so I keep heading back towards the car.

"Where are you going?" One of them asks. I already know all of their names, but I have no idea who's talking.

"Back to being stranded." I inform them. That's when Cody snaps. She gets away from me and walks angrily towards the car anyway, which is a little confusing. "Cody, what're you doing?"

"Getting our bags." She says angrily. What the actual fuck. I run to catch up with her, then pull the bags out of her hands and put them back in the car.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I whisper-yell; I'm mad, but I don't want the shitheads to hear any of what we say. I like my privacy.

"We need a lift and they're here. Whether you like it or not, this could be our only option." Cody says, trying to grab her bags again. I slap her hands away and grab her shoulders, shaking her gently.

"Have you stopped to consider that we're two girls and they're four very strong boys that probably have a bus driver or security or something with them?" I point out. She rolls her eyes and pushes me off her.

"They're not like that. They wouldn't do anything to us." She says. I raise my eyebrows at her.

"Seriously? You're going by what the media portrays them as?" I ask. She doesn't answer. "Dakota, I don't know about you but I'm not particularly in the mood for being gangbanged by four idiotic cocksuckers."

"If they're so gay, then you shouldn't be worrying about them raping us. Besides, we're not completely defenceless." She points out. Shit. She does have a point. Maybe I'm overreacting. These guys are our only option right now, and I guess it might be interesting to see how a famous band acts off-camera. I sigh.

"Fine." The word barely leaves my mouth before Cody's hugging me and squealing excitedly. Oh joy. "Might as well let them know, since we kind of just walked away. And they have our lantern."

"I'm on it." Cody says before walking towards where the boys are now standing. They're chatting and laughing occasionally, but all voices soon stop. "Um, we'd really appreciate a lift."

"Awesome. Need any help with your bags?" One of the boys asks. Cody doesn't say anything, but five people are soon standing at the back of the car with me.

"Wow. You guys have a lot of stuff." One of the guys says. I fold my arms over my chest as they start to grab all of our stuff.

"You're on cat duty." Cody mutters to me. I roll my eyes and go to the front of the car. I grab all of our things from the front two seats, then scoop the cat into my arms.

"Whoa, you even brought a cat." One of the boys chuckles. He reaches out to pat the furry ball but the cat hisses at him. "Feisty." I smirk.

"He takes after me." I state smugly. It's true; my cat has the same personality as me, and we have the sort of relationship where he always picks me over everyone else and he follows me around like I assume a dog would.

"I'll try not to get on your bad side then." The boy mutters before grabbing a bag out of the back seat and closing the door.

"That's everything." Cody says as she grabs her cajon and my guitar. Yes, we play instruments and we sing. It feels a bit cliche meeting a famous band when we're on the way to meet with the rest of ours.
