"Let's get the fuck outta here." I say, not paying attention to the horrified look on the doctor's face. Cody comes straight over to me and takes my hand. When she starts squeezing it I'm glad she didn't grab the injured arm.

"Let's go." Ashton says energetically. I've already signed the release papers and whatever the other stuff was, so I just need to pick up my new meds on the way past the chemist, then we can go.

"How're you feeling?" Michael asks. I shrug, then notice the colour of his eyes. They're green... No, it couldn't have been him. He's too arrogant. He wouldn't--

I push the thought away before it can even form properly.

"I need to get meds." I mutter to my sister, not exactly trying to be secretive but attempting to lessen the noise level.

"Oh fun." She sighs sarcastically. Ashton leads the way to the pharmacy just outside the hospital and I get my meds. The lady behind the register is so loud, and I end up just walking out in the middle of what she's saying so that I don't scream at her.

"The bus is up the street a bit since there wasn't any parking big enough any closer. That okay with you guys?" Luke asks. I groan.

"Can you fucking bring it closer then? I need to sit down before I get dizzy." I whine. Cody squeezes my hand and pulls me gently forward in the general direction of the bus.

"It's as close as Earl could get it." She tells me and I groan again, this time quieter because my head is pounding. I hear a sigh and suddenly there's a pair of arms scooping me up.

"What the fuck? Lucy you bitch put me the fuck down. I can fucking walk by myself." I would've yelled but that would hurt, so I probably sounded really wussy.

"Nope. You said you can't walk for too long and we can't bring the bus closer so this is the solution. Be glad I'm not dragging you back to put you in a wheel chair or something." He says. Because that's intimidating. Not. I would honestly rather a fucking wheel chair than his freakishly tall fucktard carrying me. I never asked to be this close to the dipshit.

"Hey Earl!!" Ashton steps into the bus in front of us and Luke still won't put me down. I glare at him but he doesn't seem to notice, even when I squirm.

"Ah, you're all back. Good to see you're okay Tess." I won't ask how he knows my name. "The cat's in the back. He's been yowling and pacing for the past hour so I thought I'd better leave him alone."

"Good call." Cody muttered. I don't think anyone was meant to hear that but I'm pretty sure Luke did too. He gives me a weird look and I simply raise one eyebrow at him; a silent plea to put me the fuck down. He finally does so and I walk as fast as I can without making myself feel worse.

"Lucifer." I sigh in relief when I see my little black furball and he mews happily as I sit down on the floor and he crawls into my lap. His nose nudges my injured wrist lightly and he looks up at me. "Yeah, I know. I'm a klutz." He mews again. "Gees you sound like Cody." I chuckle. He licks my fingers and purrs as the hand of my uninjured arm finds his belly and rubs gently.

"Did she really just have a conversation with a cat?" I look up and find Calum and Cody standing in the doorway. Calum's staring at me and my sister's gawking up at him. The joys of being related to a fangirl.

"Hey Dakota, mind helping me with somethin'?" I ask. She takes a second to snap out of it, but when she does her eyes go straight to the white bandaging on my elbow.

"Uh, you sure you want my help?" She asks, coming a little closer. Calum gives her a look up and down -much like he'd done to me when I'd pretended I was my sister- and leaves, seeming to understand that he isn't needed here... Or wanted.

"Well I'm not gonna ask the cocksuckers to help me change out of my blood-stained pyjamas." I tell my sister when I know we have some privacy.

"Oh... I thought maybe..." She trails off, still looking at my arm.

"Cody, it wasn't your fault. I was the one that climbed on top of you when I should know better. Besides, it really doesn't hurt that bad. Just remember what I said before; I'm not going anywhere. Together forever, right?" I remind her. Okay, so maybe I lied about how much it hurts, but she gets over emotional about everything so I'm playing it safe here.

"Right." She agrees. Lucifer stays close as I find a new outfit and head for the bathroom with Cody following. I hear her mutter as we go. "Together forever."
