Before I could even take a breath, the king was face to face with me. His nose smelling the air around me.

"Human." He growled, a deep rumble came from his clenched mouth.

My knees were weak and I knew I was going to pass out from the fear taking over my body. Why the fuck did I ever get in that elevator. Aristotle was going to kill me if the king didn't do it first.

King Aaron stood directly in front of me, his eyes whereas red as a glowing flame filled with curiosity.

If I wasn't scared for my life I would have thought of him as handsome. He was older than Aristotle, with bright blond hair and a scruffy beard. His fangs were out before I could think another thought and I felt the floor beneath me disappear.

His hand clamped around my throat, lifting me off the ground into the wall of the elevator.  I clawed at his hands but it was no use, he was too strong and I was having trouble breathing.

"Who are you?" he snarled in my ear.

I couldn't breathe let alone speak. Black spots starting forming across my vision and I hadn't even realize I was crying until i saw a tear hit his hands.

I tried to kick him, but I was off the ground and kicked empty air. He tilted my head exposing my neck and his red eyes grew wide.

He was going to kill me; he was going to drink my blood. Terror took over as I kicked more frantically. I smash my foot into the side wall hitting a button causing the doors to slowly start closing. The elevator started moving but I couldn't tell in what direction. I was alone with this monster in a confined space. I could barely keep my eyes open, as his face neared my neck. I Squeezed my eyes tight and pictured my blue eyed captor.

"Ari" It was barely a whisper.

POOF

I smashed onto the floor with a loud thud.

I looked up and relief washed over me.

Standing in between King Aaron and I was Aristotle, only it didn't look like him. His fang where out and his eyes were not the deep blue that I loved so much but a scary dark red.  Claws where penetrating through where his nails would have been and he looked like a monster right out of a horror movie.  He stood there breathing heavy his eyes fixed on his king. King Aarons face was shocked as he was trying to comprehend what was happing. And the fucking elevator was still moving; I glanced up and saw I had kicked the 32nd floor. In a few seconds the doors would open and I was going to make a run for it.

"What the hell is going on Ari?" Aaron clenched his fist closing the distance between them, backing me up further into the corner.

"The Human is mine, I heard the knights call for help when you disappeared with her in the elevator." He hissed right back to his king.

"Yours?" Aaron let out a small chuckle.

"This is my dam castle, my kingdom. Anything you bring here belongs to me. She interrupted an important meeting and now she has to pay." He took a step closer to me.

Aristotle let out what sounded like a loud rumble, making the king stop in his tracks.

"She. Is. mine." He said each word with such authority.

"I caught her, and she is my meal." He turned around and grabbed me by the arm, dragging me to my feet.

Meal? What the hell was he saying?

Aaron glared at Aristotle, with clenched fist still at his side.

"So be it Ari, but watch yourself little rebel. Be careful where you leave your food because if I see her again I will kill her on sight.  You do not disobey your king, and you will watch the way you speak to me. Understood?" His face was firm and his chest was puffed out. Aristotle bowed his head in defeat, and nodded.

"Yes your Grace. She will pay, I swear.... by the black knights." He choked out the last words.

Arron glared back at me, and smiled, purposely showing me his fangs. POOF, he was gone.

Aristotle let out a breath of relief and sank to the floor. He looked up at me and his eyes where returning to their natural blue. His claws started to retract back into his hands like a cat. It was astonishing how his body knew when the threat was over. I didn't know what to say so I just pulled out the key from my slacks and hit the button for the 36th floor.

We were only a few floors down so we didn't have to wait long before the doors reopened and our apartment came to view. I never thought I would be so happy to see my cage. I never wanted to leave this apartment again and guessing from the look on Aristotle's face, I didn't think I was going to.

"I..um... thought you forgot the key." I started to say. But he glared at me from across the room and moved in a flash until his nose was barley touching, mine.

"You fucked everything up, you stupid useless girl." He spat.

"The king knows what you look like now, and thank the Gods Lily's potion is still in your system or we would both be dead. Is that what you want? To leave this place so bad you would rather die?" he turned his back to me.

Tears were now freely falling from my face. The tone of his voice was nothing but sheer disappointment. He didn't even want to look at me.

"You don't understand what's going on, you are a pawn in a much larger game than you think and your reckless actions could get all of us killed. What if he knew it was your call that I answered and not his? Uh? You don't fucking think." He held out his hand, palm up.

I handed him the key without looking him in the eye.

"You will stay in this apartment until I see fit. You will eat, sleep and repeat. Your only job is to keep breathing, if you can fucking even handle that." He mumbled the last part.

POOF.

I sank into the white couch beside me. I felt so alone and used. I was just a pawn and he didn't need me let alone want me. I was so naïve to think of him as anything more than a captor.  I cried myself to sleep and dreamed of my red headed friend.

"Nat!" Lizzy was screaming for me. I knew this was a dream. I had, had it before. Lizzy was searching for me again. Over and over I could see her calling out my name and there was nothing I could do but watch as if I was a ghost watching from another dimension. Every time I tried to open my mouth and holler back to her nothing came out. I could yell and scream as much as I wanted to, it was pure silence. "Nat where are you!?" She was getting impatient and unlike my other dream she kept looking over her shoulder as if she was running from someone or something. I needed to wake up, seeing her like this was heart breaking. Why couldn't she just think I was dead, and move on? Give up Lizzy I can never come home I thought. I knew this was a dream but the pain in her voice felt so real to me.
