"NAT! Wake up!" soft hands grabbed my shoulders and were shaking my violently.

"Wake up!" I heard again, snapping me out of my dream of Lizzy.

"Are you okay?" Lily's black eyes where wide, but I couldn't tell if she was scared or just shocked.

"Nat, you were screaming. Ari sent me here to see if you were okay. He sensed something was wrong with you." She gazed down my body making sure I was totally intact.

"I'm fine, it was just a bad dream." I assured her.

I was kind of hurt that Aristotle didn't come to check on me, he sent Lily. He must have been really pissed at me still. I didn't blame him though.

"Nat, you need to be careful. Ari is your soul protector so he can hear your call better than any other knights, but if the call is strong enough the others will be able to hear it. They don't even know to listen for it yet but if they sense another royal we are all in trouble." She grabbed my hand as I sat up.

"I can't control my dreams Lily, I'm sorry. You should of never even brought me here I just keep fucking things up." I let go of her hand and starred at the floor.

"Yes, Ari told me what happen. I am glad you are safe but it does make our job a little harder now. We can't bring you anywhere until things die down."  She stood up and walked over to the kitchen.

"I have something for you." She grabbed a small vial out of the fridge and I instantly covered my face with one of the pillows lying on the couch.

"OH come on, I'm not that bad of a cook." She chuckled, walking over and handing me the potion.

"This one is a little modified, it will not only block out your royal blood but I was able to find a spice to add that will hide your human stench." She explained with such pride.

"I didn't think I smelled that bad, but um... thanks." I grabbed the potion and downed it in a single sip.

"Doesn't taste any better than the first one though." I winked at her.

"So, what was your dream about? You seemed really upset. Do you want to talk about it?" She came back and sat next to me on the couch.

Lily was petite, she looked so young but wise beyond her years.  Since the first day we met she was kind to me. Over the past couple days she helped me cope with moving here and she became like a friend to me; I wasn't use to having friends. She was the only other person I had to talk to besides Aristotle and I found comfort in her presence. I told her about my dream of Lizzy and how I worried so much for my mother and what she could be going through. I told her about that night with Josh and How I activated the call. I talked for almost an hour about everything I was feeling and it felt so good to let it all out. Lily just sat there, taking in every word I was saying; never interrupting but always listening. When I was done, tears were swelling up in my eyes.

Lily got up from the couch and knelt in front of me, grabbing both my hands in the palms of her's.

"Listen to me Nat. You are so brave and more important than you know. I am so sorry about how you got dragged into our world but I am not sorry you are here.  Your family and friends will grieve you and they will move on, grow old and die." Her words where harsh but they didn't stop.

"We need you here, this is your home, and you are our future queen by birth right. Maybe not now, but one day you will realize this is where you belong. You were born to lead, and I know you will make a magnificent queen." She placed a gentle kiss on the back of my hand and stood up.
