After closing the book, Princess Helen looked at her tutor in an apologetic manner.

Ah, forgive me Avian-san. It seems I got so immersed into the book I read. I almost forgot where I was.

While the beige haired girl apologized, her tutor listened to her half-heartedly. More specifically, he was staring at her but her eyes.

I hope she'd love to read the book I looked for her all over the library. He thought.

The male spirit cleared his throat as he tried to get the attention of the princess, successfully making her forget what she was doing.

It is alright, Your Highness.

He clasped the book behind him with enough force.

Well, here it goes. The male spirit slowly let the cover of the book appear on his right side as he said.

Instead, I wish you to be more knowledgeable. Through. . .

He stopped mid-sentence as he revealed an old, almost torn, brown book journal.

This book.

Avian sets the antique object unto the table, a tad bit near the girl's grasp.

Another book to busy myself with. She excitedly thought.

The princess smiled at him and replied curtly.

Hai, Avian-san. Don't worry, I'll read the book.

As the girl reached for the book and visually inspects the object, the male spirit himself had only one monologue which went on his mind.

Well, that went out alright. He mentally sighed.

A loud ringing sound came from the old grandfather clock within the room, indicating that it was already past twelve in the afternoon.

Oh no, I'm late! She whisper talked to herself.

Avian saw the girl's worry and told the adolescent out of reassurance as he gently smiled at her direction.

Don't fret your highness, I already sent someone to the king and queen that you'll be late for today's schedule.

The said girl used the proper etiquette in saying 'thank you' to her tutor. She faced her back towards the male spirit as she was getting ready to walk down from where she was until the palace dining room. Without any second wasted, she ran out from the library towards the door where she came from.

Quite a first experience in our class. The male spirit talked to himself as he made a beeline to his own desk within the palace library and took a seat near the window which gave off a beautiful scenery over the palace floral garden.

At least I can relax by watching these colorful things all day. And he slumped in his chair, making himself look like he had just finished an exhausting task. He closed his eyes in order to rest and take a nap.

Within the walls of the palace dining room, the rest of the Mira family sat within the wooden rectangular table. The three of them started eating their served lunch together. The only sound that came from them are clanging sounds created by the silverware they used.

Your Highnesses, the princess have just arrived.

It was announced by the guard from outside of the room. The eldest child perked up upon the announcement from the outside.

At last, she's here already.

Oh well, as long as she better explain why they their first meeting went so long. The mother talked to herself.

Take your seat, Helen. The king instructed the princess.

The beige haired girl followed him and took her seat. A spirit butler served her semi-late lunch.

It all contained a platter of food in different varieties. A lean meat chopped part of a roasted lamb, a cup of garlic rice with diced carrots and shredded corn on the side, a bowl of mushroom soup and a goblet of sundae topped with exotic fruits paired with white sparkling wine and a glass of water.

As always, okaa-san makes the best food of them all. She chides to herself as she felt her mouth water from the view of the food that she was going to partake.

When the beige haired princess was in the middle of eating her late lunch, the king spoke.

After lunch, we need to have a family meeting in the drawing room.

It was her brother and mother answered first in unison.

Hai.

As she was almost finished chewing the food inside her mouth, the adolescent reached out for her glass of water as she drank it down. Helen faced her father and also replied.

Hai, otou-san.
