It was almost three o'clock in the afternoon when Helen roused from her afternoon sleep. She stood up straight, stretching her tired body from the training and chose to take a bath before going out. As she was inside her personal bathroom, she remembered her promise to her five year old maternal cousin.
Right, I promised Vivi that I would go out with her to the town square. Helen realized as she let her body get wet in the shower.
After five minutes, she went out of the bathroom and took out the most casual wear she can use for their camouflage day out with her little cousin princess. She chose to wear a black colored kaftan with beige accents paired along its respective shawl-veil that would perfectly cover her head and lower face, blending in with the Alabastan citizens; thus, attracting less people.
Within fifteen minutes, she went out her chambers and walked towards Princess Vivi's quarters. On her way, she heard a musical laughter downstairs in which she concluded the youngest monarch's location, the drawing room. Based by the sounds that reverberated the palace walls, the eldest princess smiled at the thought that her cousin made their family's strategist, Igaram as her past time playmate.
Since Vivi dearest wanted to wait for me, she even dragged Igaram-san into the fray. She sighed internally as she felt sorry for the busy guy.
Once Helen entered the drawing room, Vivi stopped playing with Igaram and looked back to her 'big sis' with an excited smile on her face.
"Finally you're here Helen-neesan, can we go now? Can we?" The five year old princess exuberantly asked her.
At the young princess' tone, the Altarian monarch chuckled.
"Yes of course, Vivi-chan."
She paused and looked back at the strategist's condition before doing a once over to the youngest. "But you seem to be untidy at the moment, Vivi-chan. Why don't you change clothes first and I'll wait for you here. Is that alright?"
She gave a gentle eye contact with the youngest. The aforementioned girl did a recheck on her own condition and internally agreed to her cousin's suggestion.
"Okay, Helen-nee. I'll be back in a short while."
The little girl lamented and agreed. Once the youngest was out of earshot, Helen nudged the strategist to take a seat near the arched window.
"How are you, Igaram-san? I hope Vivi has not been a bother to you whenever I am unavailable."
The mentioned executive staff shook his head as he smiled.
