Standing in front of the city mayor's house there stood Axel, Rhinos and the kingdom's strongest troops.
Are you sure he's here? He clarified once more with the l'acian attack witness.
No doubt that he's here.
Why do I feel that something's crawling on my back? Axel internally shuddered at his thought-feeling.
The first one to get inside the mansion was the second-in-command of the kingdom's troops. Following right behind him was the crown prince with Rhinos at his back while the other troop members spreads out within the area, looking for any clues that might lead them to any evidence signifying that something indeed had happened to the city mayor.
As the leading second-in-command closed in the vicinity of the entrance door, he turned back for a confirmation coming from the crown prince.
I'll open the door on the count of three, Your Highness.
The lead received a single nod coming from the person behind him.
One.
A small force of wind passed through the area.
Two.
The prince only looked straight at the entrance door of the mayor's mansion.
Three!
Before they can even force the door open, they heard a loud thud that seem to be coming from the mayor's living room.
Now!
As their group came filing into the house, all they saw were scattered furnitures and most of the furnishings on the wall were not in their proper places.
It's as if the place experienced a typhoon to which it passed by.
All three of them were on high alert for themselves as they scanned the living room while the troop's second-in-command stood away from the room as he decided to continue the search room for room. He puts everyone's safety first while checking within the mansion's perimeter. The only one left in the living room with the crown prince was the l'acian witness.
