As the nineteen year old prince rushed to his only sibling, he wiped his tears away alternately with both wrists, remembering what his mother had instructed him to do.
"Get Helen away from this island and safe from danger. She's the only redemption left for Altaria."
I hope Helen-chan's ready. He thought as he sharply turned to a corner, letting no other second wasted and dashed for a particular mahogany door that led to the princess' chambers.
At the touch of his hand on the doorknob, he turned it clockwise and hurriedly entered.

Inside the twelve year old child's bedroom, there sat the country's princess. She held unto a medium sized brown satchel with her right hand as she clenched her left fist out of worry. The youngest Mira couldn't catch on what was happening within their country.
All she heard were incoherent and indefinite words coming from her mother's former nanny.
. . .gather. . .everyone. . .danger. . .
Gather? Everyone? Danger? Helen internally tried to put two on two as for the possible situation at hand.
With all her thinking, she didn't notice her hand clenching in need for answers. Her left palm would surely have those red crescent shaped marks. As deep as she thought hard, she didn't feel any painful sensation and was oblivious as to what she did to her hand.
The girl's pondering was washed away when her only sibling, Axel gently called her out, each of his words laced with haste. He bent halfway unto the floor in order to gain the girl's eye contact as he continued calling for her attention.
Helen-chan. Come on, Helen-chan we need to go.
The crown prince lightly tapped his sister's right cheek.
For two consecutive taps coming from the young adult did not make his expected response coming from his little sister. Hence, he decided to call her out a couple of times more while tapping her cheek.
Helen-chan,
It was the first try. Now, sensing the need for a second time, he repeats the same action.
Helen-chan.
Axel was going to give her a third calling but instead, cries of agony coming from the Altarian subjects were heard within the princess' mind.
Help!
We don't want to die!
My child! Where is my child?!
No!
In the middle of hearing their subjects' cry came a seemingly live vision coming from the throne room.
