The fifteen year old sandy blonde haired Marine Lieutenant Junior Grade walked his way to the Fleet Admiral's office one morning as he was summoned by his foster father-superior. He tries on fixing his scarf around his neck as he stopped short to knock on the said office.
Once the knock reached Sengoku's ears, he gave his signal to come in. With no time to spare, the teen marine officer opened the door as he entered his foster father's office not without tripping himself on a banana peeling that was left by his pet goat.
At the sight of his foster son's antics while eating his okaki, his favorite fried rice crackers, he cackled while the sandy blonde haired teen stood up and picked up the peeling while throwing it towards the trash can.
"You're still as clumsy as ever, Rosi-kun."
Hearing the comment about him, Rosinante huffed as he fixed his appearance once more.
"What did you call me here for, otou-san?" The adolescent took his seat by Sengoku's right side.
Recalling on what was the real purpose to the summon of his son, he replied. "I heard that you'll be promoted to Lieutenant once you finish your mission by next week."
The black haired Fleet Admiral crossed his hands as he states on his gathered Intel pertaining to the sandy blonde haired male's older brother. While listening, Rosinante's hands clenched and shook in anticipation on his brother's current whereabouts since he have not heard of him from the last seven years.
I can say that I am deeply grateful for Sengoku-tousan for adopting me after all that had happened to me in North Blue. He pondered to himself as he remembered how his brother committed patricide in front of him as a sole witness.
Although it rendered me speechless and clinically mute for five years, he made such an effort to put me back in my tip-top shape through communication and rehabilitation as he too personally guided me in my early training with a goal to become a Marine officer.
This time, I will stop Doffy-niisan from dragging other people's lives with him. Especially innocents and children. Not that I can help it. Rosinante promised to himself.
