Chapter 19 | The Proposal...

Author's POV

Dev and Diya discovered that they were on the other sides of the wall.

"Dev!!!" Diya said peeping through the thorned wire window in the wall seeing Dev's face!!

"Diya....Tum theek ho na (Are you okay)?" Dev said feeding his fingers through the wire and holding Diya's fingers.

Diya nodded her head in a yes and gave a huge smile through her tears.

"All this is happening because of me!!" Diya cried making Dev cry.

"No Diya....Shhhh!!! Stop blaming yourself!!" Dev said with teary eyes.

He tried pulling the thorned wire out but his hands were too wounded.

Diya also tried untying her hands and ankles bus didn't succeed either.

Despite all this, the feeling that they were together was enough to cheer them up. The simple touch of his fingers made Diya feel safe!! Though she was incredibly freaked-out thanks to all this, deep inside she knew that nothing could happen to her if Dev was around.

"Dev...where are we?" Diya asked him still shaking.

"I'm not too sure....But don't worry Diya...I will get us out of here very soon," Dev assured.

"Oh Really," Arjun entered Diya's side of the room. "May I ask HOW?"

Both of them silent. He walked towards Diya making Dev angry.

"Arjun....Stay away from her," Dev yelled as he stepped closer and closer.

Diya's tears flowed endlessly and her breath went heavy.

"Tsk...Tsk...Tsk....Poor Diya...if only she hadn't insulted me that day in front of everyone!!" Arjun smirked crawling his hand over Diya's cheeks.

"And Dev....My friend...you wouldn't be here if you hadn't decided to come in between Diya and me just as I was about to get close to her!!! You have any idea on how much time it took to gain her trust....I mean all I really wanted was one night with her!!!" Arjun smirked as Dev clenched his hands.

"I mean it's not as if I would take Diya for EVER!!! But no....You had to come in between us...you couldn't wait until I had finished with her??" he said holding onto Diya now.

"It's so sad....now you both have to die....you both will DIE Dev and Diya!!" he laughs evilly untying Diya's arms and ankles.

Dev rages in anger.

"Arjun....Kameene Leave her alone!!!" Dev shouted. Diya instantly backed away when Arjun untied her.

"Dev Help," Diya screamed as Arjun caged her with his arms. Dev saw Arjun's hand traveling up and down Diya's leg. When Diya began to kick him, he clenched onto her ankle and twisted it making her scream.

"Yes....That's what you get for first of all rejecting Arjun Singh, second of all insulting Arjun Singh and lastly not obeying Arjun Singh," Arjun growled enjoying every tear of Diya. He kept twisting her ankle until it went blue.

"DIYA!!!" Dev yelled pulling onto the wire that was stopping him from saving Diya.

"AAARRRRJJJUUUNN" he screamed as he finally removed the net. He jumped to Diya's side of the wall and pulled Arjun from Diya. He punched him numerous times until Arjun was unconscious.

He picked Diya up bridal style and carried her outside the door (That Arjun had very conveniently left unlocked).

Lucky for them....there weren't any goons around. Dev ran outside the factory caring Diya in his arms.
