Chapter 32 - FINAL CHAPTER

"Don't you dare you bastard ARJUN!!"

"It's too late now Dev....Now either you will move and let me get to Diya...or I will....let me see....or I will KILL HIM" he says pointing and Sid who was trying to get up.

"No Dev" Sid cried In Agony. "Don't let go of Diya!!"

"Sid!! NO" Dev cried as Sid gets up on his feet and comes in front Diya and Dev.

BANG BANG BANG!!

Blood sprays everywhere, as the gunshots echo through everyone's heads. 

Time froze.

Dev clenched his eyes and fists not ready to accept that his brother was shot. 

"Aaargh!!" yells Arjun and collapses to floor. 

Diya, who was not able to look up thinking that Sid had been shot shockingly sprang up. 

Behind him stood dozens of officers armed with guns. 

Dev and Sid were in shock too. their bodies trembled in disbelief that the danger was now over. 

The officers came in and dragged out Aujun Sing's dead body. Pihu, who quietly tried to escaping in a life boat was also caught.  

Tears continued to pour down Diya's cheeks. After a closer look, she realised that her Brother and Father were standing in the doorway.  

Diya tried standing up but her shaking feet did not support. Luckily Dev caught her before she stumbled. 

"Dev...Bhai!!" she whispered looking into Dev's eyes. 

Dev looked up and recognised Aryan. He struggles to recognise Mr Khanna who was standing beside him. 

Diya walked over to them but instead of meeting her father, she straight went to her brother. 

Mr Khanna felt devastated.  

"Diya....Pa!!" Aryan said trying to pull her out of the hug, but Diya did not budge. She didn't want to meet her father. 

"Diya," her father said softly placing his hand on her shoulder. 

"I'm sorry Diya" Mr Khanna cried.

"I'm Sorry mera bacha!! (I'm Sorry my child) I had no choice. i couldn't put your lives in danger! I was forced to either stay away from you all or put your lives in danger....but you know what, i was always around you." 

Diya looked up to Aryan and he nodded his head in yes. 

"Ha Diya! Pa was the one that told me to get the two of you married. He made sure that there was high security around you at all time after that attack. He was there that day but didn't have the courage to face his daughter. Diya i have seen him cry to bed everyday. It wasn't easy for him, but at every point he made sure that you all were safe." 

Tears didn't stop coming from Diya's eyes.  

"Diya....I'm not asking you to forgive me, I haven't really fulfilled my duty as a father, but at least talk to me bacha" he said. 

Within a split second Diya gave her father a tight hug. 

Diya was speechless. She had nothing to say. All her anger and fury had perished after being in the arms of her father. 

The father and daughter were finally together. all their misunderstandings had parted. Mr Khanna told her everything and realise that what he did was only to protect them. 

Mr Khanna turned to Dev. 

"Thank you son.....thank you for being there for her. Thanking you for never letting her hand go" he said hugging him too.
