The following Wednesday after Trip's epiphany, he and his crew had just arrived in Monaco for the weekend.
And on their first night Trip decided to take everyone out to a party that his friend was throwing.
After changing clothes and freshening up at the hotel, Trip and the rest of his crew take a car out to the marina where a big yacht was parked and two bouncers guarded the entrance.
"Trip McAllister and guests." Trip said to bouncer as he looks for his name on the list. "I'm sorry but your name isn't here." The bouncer said.
Then suddenly, a gorgeous blonde woman emerged from the balcony of the boat, "It's okay, they're with me." She said. Trip smiled and the bouncers let them through.
Trip hugs her, "It's so good to see you." He said and she kisses his cheek and said, "Always a pleasure to see you, Trip. I'm so glad you came." She said. Trip then introduces her, "Elizabeth Parker, you remember Martin and Phoebe right? And these are my other friends; Tracy, Elaine and Amelia." He said. "It's nice to meet all of you. Please enjoy the party." She said and she and Trip go up to the second floor of the yacht and talk.
"I heard my brother is dating your sister." She said and sipped a glass of champagne. Trip laughs, "I guess history does repeat itself." He said. "Pshhh! That was just a brief fling we had when we were sophomores." She joked and they both laughed.
"So how have you been Trip?" She asked. "I'm okay." He said and got a glass of champagne from one of the waiters. "That's good. I'm sorry about her passing, I'm sorry I wasn't there." She said. Trip smiled, "Nah, it's okay. Don't worry about it." He said.
Then they go to the railings where they see all the celebrated, gorgeous people socializing on the deck of the boat while someone photographs them.

"What about you, Liz? How are you?" He asked. "Liz? You haven't called me that in years!" She said with a laugh. "Because we haven't seen each other in years!" He replied with a smile. "Well, I'm fine. Thanks for asking." She replied. "Are you really?" He asked but she was silent.
"Did you and Brandon break up?" He asked. "You know me so well, Mr. McAllister." She answered. Trip gasped, "When? Why didn't you tell me?" He asked. "Why should I? It's already as embarrassing as the day it happened." She said and looked away. "Did he dump you?" He asked. Elizabeth looked him in the eye and smiled, "He left me for someone else." She said and they hug each other.
"I'm sorry." He said and hugged her tight. Elizabeth was now crying on his chest as she wraps her arms around Trip. "He doesn't deserve you, Liz." He said. "You deserve to be with someone who loves you and appreciates you." He added. "Tell me where to find guys like you, Trip." She said with a laugh and stopped crying.
Trip smiled and they pull apart. Elizabeth sighed, "Thanks for listening, Trip. And for ruining my make up." She said. "Now go and enjoy the party, I gotta go entertain some guests." She added. Trip kissed her on the cheek and then went down to join his friends.
