Today is the day Tyler's mom has decided we go see his dad. I walked over to his house at ten.

Tyler's mom let me in and as I walked in the door, he ran past and slid into the kitchen with a thump. He came back out a few minutes later with a water bottle. He took a drink and then handed it to me before walking back the hall to his room.

"We'll leave here in a little bit." His mom says. She smiles and rubs my shoulder before she exits the room as well.

I walk back the hall to Tyler's room where he lay on a beanbag chair on the floor. I tap his door frame so he knows I'm there and I take a seat on his bed.

"I haven't used it in a few years so, I thought I'd." He doesn't exactly finish but he acts as if he has.

"Give it some love?" He looks up at me.

"Yeah, that." He stands and walks over to sit with me. "I'm not ok, Ri. I'm not." That's when I choke up and I know it won't be the only time today.

"Do you need to talk about it?" I ask, not knowing what else to say.

"I don't know. Does that help people? I don't get like this."

"Never?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Nope. Never."

"Well then, welcome to my world." He looks at me with annoyance. "Ok," I drawl out. "What's your favorite thing to do?" He breaths in and just before he answers, "Besides sports." He frowns and breaths out.

"I don't know."

"This might be harder than I thought..."

"I bought some candy and chips to snack on along with water and some pop. Keep the kid awake." She smiles. Tyler's mom stopped at a gas station half way to this jail his dad is being held in. We needed gas, food and a bathroom break because I was about to explode.

Tyler fell asleep about twenty minutes into the ride. He laid down and put his head in my lap. I tried as hard as I could to get out of the car quietly.

After I used the bathroom, I was headed back out when Tyler's mom called me over to ask if I wanted anything. I answered her and walked back to the car where there was no Tyler. I looked around before I got down in the car to grab my phone. As soon as I pulled up my messages 'Boo!' He yelled. I thought I'd pee all over again.

I yelled at him asking what he was thinking and he just laughed. He walked around the car and sat in his seat.

"You're too easy to scare." He said, still laughing. He grabbed my shorts pocket and pulled on it. "Come here." I glared at him. It would've been rude not to seeing that he has a lot of stress on him, so I scooted over to the middle seat. "I'm sorry."

"No you aren't." I said sternly. His lips brushed past mine and to my jaw line which he trailed with kisses. My jaw clenched as I tried to stay some what angry. "Tyler." I growled. He ignored me though and continued. He kisses my nose and then my lips. As he did so, I bit his.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"Oh you know what that was for."

"I said sorry."

"I know you didn't mean it. You know you didn't mean it." He sighed.

"Ok well, I mean it now."

And that's when his mom got back in the car.

Tyler searches the bags for who knows what. He pulls out a thing of those airhead strips.

"Oh, gay bacon!" I say, grabbing the pack from him to take one.

"Gay bacon?" He asks, pulling out another pack.

"Yeah. It's shaped like bacon and it's a rainbow. Gay bacon." I take a bite of one and he shrugs.

Over the next hour, things became hectic. Tyler went into an anxiety attack and I feel really bad.

It started with him throwing up which I didn't handle very well. After that it was more panic like. I am finally calming him down. I handed him a headphone and plugged them into my phone to play music he likes. Half way through Guns n Roses' Paradise City, he wraps his arms around my waist as he lays down. I stroke his hair and look out the window.

Before I know it, we pull into a jail parking lot which, believe it or not, is pretty full.

Inside, people sit around, waiting. A mother runs over to her, who I believe is her son. She hugs him tightly before scolding him, saying 'what were you thinking' and 'you're father is not happy'. In one corner, a lady sits with unease. Her leg bounces and she clutches her purse. In another corner, a mother and a little boy sit and wait for any sort of news.

Tyler follows my gaze to them and frowns. This time, I lace my fingers in his. He looks at me quickly and smiles, but I can still see the hurt in his eyes. The only thing I can do to make things better, is to just be here.

And that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to be here with him when he needs someone.

Once again, the next chapter is obviously going to be a continuation of this one.

I keep forgetting to update in the mornings. Something, I guess I should say someONE keeps distracting me! He's cute though so it's fine.

Anyways, thank you so much for reading!
