I woke up on the couch in Donnie's arms, and immediately felt as if I needed a shower. I slowly got up as Donnie was still asleep, and slipped into my room, getting undressed and went into the bathroom, getting a shower.
I hummed and sang softly as I washed my hair and body, getting all the sweat and oil off me. I used some of my favourite body wash because it smelled so good.
I stepped out and wrapped my hair and body in a towel and dried off, then got dressed in some panties and a huge T shirt. I tied my hair up into the messiest bun I'd ever seen and stepped back out, finding Donnie was awake and sitting up on the couch.
"Aren't you cute?" He smiled and I gave a little grin. "You have a nice voice, too." He said and I went over to him and he sat me down on his lap, holding me in place.
"I was in show choir for three years. It paid off." I smiled and he chuckled.
I soon had an idea and got up, grabbing my phone off the coffee table and hooked it up to some speakers and went to my music. A song began playing, and I smiled and went over to Donnie, holding his hands and pulling him up with me to an empty part of the room.
"Dor, what-"
"Dance with me." I said and we slowly began dancing to the music and I softly sang along.
"When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
Well, there's so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you've come so far
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?
Well, I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up
And when you're needing your space
To do some navigating
I'll be here patiently waiting
To see what you find
'Cause even the stars they burn
Some even fall to the earth
We've got a lot to learn
God knows we're worth it
No, I won't give up
I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily
I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make
Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use
The tools and gifts we got, yeah, we got a lot at stake
And in the end, you're still my friend at least we did intend
For us to work we didn't break, we didn't burn
We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in
I had to learn what I've got, and what I'm not,
and who I am
I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up, I'm still looking up.
Well, I won't give up on us (no I'm not giving up)
God knows I'm tough enough (I am tough, I am loved)
We've got a lot to learn (we're alive, we are loved)
God knows we're worth it (and we're worth it)
I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up..."
Donnie pulled me into a hug and we just stood there and swayed slightly as another slow love song came on. This one was by Lana Del Rey, so it automatically put the both of us in a romantic mood.
Donnie slowly lifted my face up and I closed my eyes and waited patiently. He slowly leaned down and just brushed our lips together slightly, then pulled back and chuckled lightly, then met them in a kiss.
It was everything I'd ever dreamed it'd be. This was my first kiss, after all. I think it was perfect.
Donnie was being so soft and gentle with me, and our lips pulled back and met again and again ever so lightly. It was so nice and tasted so sweet and I just felt as if I was walking on air.
This is perfection.
