Chapter seventeen:

<><><><>

October 31st, 2013. - Friday.

Three weeks later:

I sat there drumming my fingers on my desk.

It was becoming hard to sit in a desk with my stomach getting bigger by the minute.

Today was Halloween and I was seriously bummed I wouldn't be able to do anything.

Princeton was throwing a Halloween bash today, and I was a little bummed out I couldn't go.

The past couple of weeks I began to look at furniture for the baby.

You could say my life's been going okay.

My family and I are back on talking terms.

Kaiden is coming home for thanksgiving break.

And Laya, yes my dear sister has found herself a boyfriend.

November is my favorite time of the year, I like watching the fall leaves fall off the trees, my entire family coming together for thanksgiving, my house no longer feeling empty being placed with laughter throughout.

Last but not least, this was going to be my very first thanksgiving as a mom.

Plus, I couldn't help but think about all of the delicious food I'll be eating.

My family has yet to meet Princeton and I'm not really sure when I want them to meet Princeton.

How can I explain to my parents, that Princeton and I hate each other on a daily basis and I got drunk off my ass and slept with a stranger?

I will say, Princeton and I have been getting along a lot more lately and it's nice not having to think about a thousand ways I can make his death look like an accident.

In three days I was going to find out my baby's gender and I couldn't be happier.

Everything was falling into place and I was finally at ease, and there was no way this smile was leaving my face anytime soon, it was real.

"Not going to lie. Your shirt is kind of scary." Princeton said sliding into the seat next to mine.

"How cool is it though?" I said pointing at the little hands that looked like it was coming out of my stomach. The blood definitely made it look more real.

"Pretty cool. But creepy." Princeton said pulling at one of the hands.

I smacked his hand away, glaring at him.

"Don't break the hand off!" I said rolling my eyes.

"So what are you suppose to be? Minnie Mouse, or Freddy Krueger?"

"Ha, funny." I said in a dry tone.

"If you were expecting me to wear a slutty costume you obviously thought wrong." I said adjusting my light up Micky mouse ears on my head.

"You know, I like you in a good mood. And no, I didn't think you were going to wear a slutty costume." Princeton said checking out the girls who were walking in.

"You are such a pig." I said smacking his shoulder.

"What?" Princeton said rubbing his shoulder.
