Chapter Twenty-Eight:

<><><><>

December 4th, 2013. - A'Miyah's last day.

Ready for your last day?" Princeton asked me pulling his shirt over his head.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I muttered walking out of the bathroom pulling my towel tighter around my body.

Things with Princeton weren't awkward but they weren't exactly normal either...

I mean just last night the kid is confessing his feelings for me, but basically takes it all back the second he tells me. Then wants to cuddle afterwards. What type of shit is that?

And then of course my dumbass gives in and cuddles with the kid. Who is an amazing cuddler by the way.

I quickly threw on a pair of leggings, and my creme colored knitted sweater I matched it with my chestnut uggs, I put my hair in fishtail braid.

"Ready?" Princeton asked me grabbing his car keys.

"Ready." I replied grabbing my phone and purse.

Princeton grabbed my backpack and his off the floor following me down the stairs.

"Morning Miyah, Princeton." My mother spoke. Princeton and I froze in the middle of the staircase.

"Don't worry, I saw him come in last night."

"Coffee anyone?" My mother spoke.

She was awfully friendly this morning.

I finished wobbling my way down the steps towards the front door.

"No thanks mom, see you later!" I shouted closing the front door behind me.

Princeton and I silently made our way towards his car.

You could definitely say the ride to school was awkward.

I sighed, unbuckling my seatbelt and adjusting my purse on my shoulder.

Princeton walked around to my side opening the door.

I gave him a small smile hopping out of his car.

I placed my hand on my stomach and began making my way inside the school.

Princeton caught up to me, grabbing my hand. He locked our fingers together bringing them up to his lips. He smiled against my skin sending shivers down my body.

Damn him, and damn these hormones.

"What are you doing?" I asked playing with my braid with my free hand.

"Holding your hand." Princeton casually spoke giving a head nod to one of the jocks.

"Yes, but why?" I drawled on.

"Because I want to hold your hand A'Miyah." Princeton spoke glancing over at me.

"You're bipolar."

"Says the pregnant one with raging hormones." Princeton snorted.

"Yes, but I have a valid reason." I added.

"So do I." Princeton answered back.

"Oh yeah? And what's that?"
