Chapter Twenty-Four:
<><><><>
November 30th, 2013. - Saturday.
My eyelids fluttered shut, Princeton kept running his hands through my hair over and over again putting me to sleep.
Princeton and I were sprawled out in my bed, our bodies tangled together.
"Miyah?"
"Hmm?" I mumbled drifting off to sleep.
"If you were sober that night, would it have changed?"
"Yes." I muttered.
"Do you regret it?"
"You mean, do I regret Adrianna? Never. I love her so much I can’t imagine my life without her. She's a blessing in disguise."
I listened to Princeton's heart beat, while his fingers ran through my hair.
"You know, I've actually been thinking about her name."
"Yeah, about what?" I said sitting up looking at Princeton.
I couldn't help but flinch when I seen his nose.
"Her name, I just want it to be perfect."
"Well what do you have in mind?"
"Something different, something unique."
"Okay, well then let me hear it.." I said crossing my legs.
"I was thinking Mercedes?" Princeton said winking at me.
"We're not naming our daughter after a car."
"Okay, how about Tequila?"
"Seriously Princeton?" I said glaring at him.
"I love her name already, it’s perfect Princeton." I said reaching for his hand.
"Really?"
"Yeah." I said smiling.
"Adrianna Tribbiani."
"You're still keeping her last name as mine?"
"Why wouldn't I? She's apart of you just as much." I said interlocking our fingers together.
"You're perfect." Princeton whispered but I heard him loud and clear.
"What?"
"Uh- it's perfect."
I nodded my head pursing my lips.
"I just want everything to be perfect. She's going to be perfect." Princeton said playing with my fingers.
"You're going to be a great dad you know that?"
"How are you so sure?"
"Because Princeton, I just know. Trust me on this."
"I trust you."
I looked at Princeton, and for the first time in so long I was actually looking at Princeton,
taking in all of his features.
His chocolate brown curly hair curled over his ears, desperate need of a haircut but yet it looked absolutely adorable on him. The beauty mark above his heart shaped lips, to the dimples noticeable in his cheek.
