Above is what Catt and Chanel look like.
Mitch's POV
"Hi Cit Catt," I said as I wrapped my arm around my girlfriend. She smiled and kissed me.
"Happy Friday!" she responded excitedly as we took out any necessary books from our side-by-side lockers. I then grabbed her hand as we walked down the hall. Soon she started glaring at her right so I looked to the spot. There I spotted Kirstin. If anything you shouldn't mess with Kirstin, that girls dad has the most power at this school. Even more power than our very own Catt McLean. I saw her with her hair up in a fancy Mohawk. She was hanging out with her monkey gang Avi and Chanel, I tried making her a part of my group, but Catt won't even let me bring her up. Let me tell you some details on Chanel and Avi. Avi used to rule the school, just like me. He had Catt at one point as his girlfriend, just like me. That all ended when someone started a rumour about him. Now whenever him and I come in contact it is supremely uncomfortable, but then again I find myself supremely uncomfortable by most people's actions. Now let's move onto Chanel. That girl has a fancy name, but she's the exact opposite of that. Being a hip hop dancer she tends to look trashy. You can tell she has a little bit of wealth but obviously not enough to buy her nice clothes. So that's why those idiots aren't with us anymore, just in case you were wondering. Catt surprisingly walked up to the monkey clang and shot them a fake smile.
"Nice to run into you," she stated handing them both posters, "as you know, we have our very first prom this year. So I'm already handing out posters so y'all don't stand a chance," they all rolled their eyes. She handed them posters then kept going to class.
"What about the rest of the people in the hall," she scoffed.
"Too much work, I'll do them later," I chuckled and intertwined our fingers as we made our way to class.
*end of school day*
"Bye babe," I say to Catt before locking our lips. She smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Bye boo," she then got in her car and drove away. I turned to the gate and made my way to my house. As usual, my parents were away with my sister, Jeannette, fancy name, I know. I then head into the kitchen.
"Ryan! My man!" I said cheerfully. He gave me his signature smile.
"Hey Mitch!" he handed me an apple and I gladly took it.
"I'm going to meet the kid I've been helping tonight," I said happily. Ryan lightened up at the sound of that.
"That's great Mitch. I'm glad at least one member of this household is putting their money towards something good and useful," I chuckled and nodded my head.
"Anyways I should probably get ready to leave," I said with a small smile. I then texted Clara and waited by the gate of my house for her to arrive. When the long black limo pulled up, I slowly got in.
"Good afternoon Mr Grassi," she said politely. I sighed.
"Clara you really don't have to call me that. It's Mitch, Mr Grassi is my dad," she chuckled.
"Fine. Where are we going today?" she asked.
"Can you head to the hospital please? I am visiting a friend," she smiled widely before pulling out of my neighbourhood. All of my family's workers are aware of me solely working on charities. I love watching people who may not have as much as I do get excited when they get something they've been dreaming of their entire life.
"Who is the new friends name today?" she asked.
"His name is Scott Hoying. Same age as me, he got in a serious accident years ago and his leg is now paralyzed. I'm donating money to him so he can get it amputated. Then hopefully I'll help him buy a prosthetic leg," Clara sat there very much impressed.
"I'm proud of you Mitch. How are your mom and dad okay with this though? Surgeries can be expensive," I looked at her with my seriously face.
"My parents don't care. As they always tell me, 'nothing is ever too expensive for the Grassi's'" Clara chuckled.
"Well your parents are right," we then arrived at the hospital and I got out. I handed Clara fifty dollars that I had in my pocket.
"I know I shouldn't be giving you this but thanks for letting me talk to you," I said smiling widely. Clara blushed.
"Thank you Mitch, have a wonderful rest of the day!" I then waved goodbye and walked into the hospital. I walked up to the desk.
"Hi I'm here to see Scott Hoying," I said politely. The lady smiled and looked at her sheets.
"Mitch Grassi?" I nodded, "follow me," she said. As we walked to his room she faced me. "I'm very surprised to see a youngster like you helping your fellow youngsters," she said smiling.
"It's the least I can do. I mean my family only cares about rich people stuff and I don't want to be like them," I said sadly.
"Well have fun. Scott has been looking forward to meeting you," I nodded and looked at the door. I took a deep breath and opened the door. There lay a tall figure in the bed. He was watching SpongeBob and I couldn't help but notice similarities in our personalities already.
"Hi," I said shyly, "I'm Mitch," he turned and his eyes lit up.
"Mitch? Oh it's so nice to meet you! I'm sorry I can't get up and greet you," he said sadly. I chuckled lightly.
"It's okay," I then pulled up a chair next to his bed and sat down happily. "How's your leg doing?" I asked smiling.
"It's been okay. I still need help moving around but you know with the surgery I'll be able to walk after that," I smiled.
"Yes it's in two days, I can't wait honestly," he sighed.
"I still can't believe it. Thank you so much again. I can't tell you how much this means to me," his eyes gleamed at me.
"How are you so happy?" I questioned, "nothing is holding me back from living like you and I feel unhappy," I said sadly. He chuckled.
"Mitch having only one leg that works isn't making me depressed. I love everything and everyone in my life. I got rid of all of the demons." I sighed.
"But Scott I'm happy with the people in my life. I have everything I could ever wish for yet something just doesn't seem right," he shrugged.
"I guess that's something for you to find out. Just do a little searching and you'll find it," I smiled at him.
"Thanks Scott I really appreciate it," he smiled back.
"Hey it's the least I can do for the guy who paid for this surgery," we both chuckled.
"True," I then got up, "I'll come to visit after your surgery. I can't wait to see you after that," he waved goodbye as I exited the room. I couldn't stop smiling after that. Scott was very nice, and he was right, I just had to do a little searching. That will be my mission for this year, I guarantee.
