_____________
Mitch's POV
Okay I'm breathing. That's good, so at least I'm alive. My head is in agony and I feel like it is going to explode. So I can at least feel things too. That's also good. I hear voices. My parents voices, they-they actually showed up. My eyes couldn't open but I could move my hands ever so slightly."How could this happen?" My mom said, her voice shaky with every passing word.
"Nel he's breathing fine. He doctors say he'll wake up tonight because the injury luckily didn't put him into a long lasting coma. He'll wake up soon," my hand started to move more. I was trying to signal that I was, in fact, awake. I tried moving my left hand more and more, soon enough I was able to move my hand frantically.
"Mike he's moving!" My mom said happily, "Mitch sweetie. I know you can hear us. Can you try to open your eyes?" I started slowly with my left eye. I moved around slowly and began to open my eyes. Once I got both eyes open, I hissed at the bright light. Then I didn't know where I was, what happened? I looked at my parents confused.
"What happened?" I asked as I sat up, "is everyone alright?" Both my parents smiled.
"Everyone is physically okay but not emotionally. Your old group of friends pushed you so hard into a desk that you hit your head very hard," no wonder my head hurts so much. I then slowly put my hand up to my head and felt a thick bandage around it.
"The doctors want you in the hospital for a few days," my mom said grabbing onto my hand. I nodded.
"Are my friends going to visit?" My parents looked at me worriedly.
"After what they did to you I sure hope not," my mom said clearly confused. I began laughing.
"No mom! I have new friends. Remember? Kirstin?" She made a face declaring that she understood.
"Got it. Wait you've got others now?" She questioned, I chuckled and nodded my head. She smiled at my father. My dad turned his attention back to me.
"How are you and Catt doing?" I sighed at the question.
"Cattelina and I have broken up as I did not meet her standards in the popular group," I rolled my eyes, "I can't believe I actually thought she was better than that." I saw my mom sneak a 20 dollar bill to my dad.
"Told you Nel," my dad whispered. I looked at them shocked.
"Since when did you bet on my love life?" I said, my mouth agape. They both snickered.
"Since you and Kirstin started hanging out," she said with a wink.
"Mom you met her three days ago," I said weirded out. My mom shook her head.
"Ryan and Clara absolutely love her," those little turds. They still tell my parents about my ever so extravagant love life. I chuckled lightly.
"Do you guys know if Kirstin will be visiting?" I asked. They both shrugged.
"She most likely will. She was the one who went in the ambulance with you after all," I smiled. Kirstin really is a good friend.
"Do you have my phone mom?" I asked. She smiled and nodded. I grabbed it from her and unlocked it. I went into messages and opened Kirstin's contact.
MXGrassi: I just woke up from my beauty sleep.
Kweenkirst12: OMG you're awake. Thank the lord.
MXGrassi: can you come and visit me?
Kweenkirst12: on my way
MXGrassi: Home.
Kweenkirst12: what that doesn't make any sense!
MXGrassi: just don't question it.
