Mitch's POV
"Hi mom!" I greeted as I entered my home. School was fun and I actually couldn't wait to tell her about it. No answer as usual but I still think it's worth a try every so often. I put down my bag and went up the stairs. I quickly checked my parents room but didn't find my mom anywhere. She and my father must be with Jeannette. I sighed and plopped myself on my bed. I took out my phone and plugged it into my charger. I then checked my texts and noticed one text from the hospital.Unknown: Hello Mr Grassi. Scott Hoying as been requesting your presence for awhile now. He has completed his surgery and can't wait for you to visit. Please visit to him as soon as you can.
I smiled and took my phone out of the charger. I'm sure mom and dad won't mind if I take one of the cars. I then ran back downstairs and into the garage. There sat my dads smart car. He never uses it but I sure enjoy stealing it when I can. I grabbed it's keys off of the hook and got into the car. Luckily I can actually drive because most of my life I have refused to let Clara drive me. That was before you got used to the rich life idiot. Anyways, I got off the driveway and into the busy LA traffic. About an hour later I arrived at the hospital, this time with a little gift sitting in the passenger seat. I took it and held it close as I walked from the parking lot and into the main entrance. I walked up and smiled.
"Hi I'm Mitch Grassi. I'm here to see Scott Hoying," the lady smiled widely.
"Good you got the text message. He's so excited to see you. The surgery was a massive success," I smiled very wide as she guided me to Scott's room.
"Have fun," she said as she walked back to the desk. I took a deep breath and gave the door a light knock.
"Come in!" A familiar voice called. I slowly opened the door and was greeted by a happy Scott.
"Mitch! You're here!" he said happily, his blue eyes lighting up as my presence was noticed. I smiled back.
"Yeah, I heard the surgery went excellent," I said cheerfully. He nodded.
"It went very well indeed. I've been doing physical therapy and it's very helpful. Painful and hard, but helpful," I chuckled.
"That's good," I then remembered the gift. I took it out and handed it to him.
"Woah this is beautiful," he held up the Swarovski in ears I got him.
"I heard you want to be a singer when you're older. Who know you might even get a couple of Grammies," I said, "these in-ears make hearing the instruments so much easier," I said happily.
"Great! My mom signed me up for an A cappella group so these will be perfect for performances," I smiled.
"I'll be coming to some of your physical therapies every so often," I said as I got up.
"Thank you so much Mitch! You're very amazing!" I smiled and blushed.
"Thank you," I then left the room. As I drove, I simply couldn't get the smile off my face. My money was actually going somewhere good. Suddenly I find myself getting really bored.MXGrassi: I'm really bored, wanna hang?
Kweenkirst12: sure, my house or yours?
MXGrassi: can we do your house? We've just always done mine.
Kweenkirst12: sweet. See you in 10?
MXGrassi: sounds great!Kirstin then gave me the address and I put it into my phone. I let my phone guide me and surprisingly I was very close to Kirstin's house. I pull up and notice a fancy modern house. I walk up the driveway and ring the doorbell. Then I hear the pitter patter of feet. Soon the door opens to reveal a women, obviously Kirstin's mom.
"Can I help you?" She asked with the door open.
"Hi I'm Mitch. I'm one of Kirstin's friends, she invited me over," Kirstin's mom smiled at me.
"Very nice to meet you Mitch," she said before turning into the house, "Kirstin! A friend is here to see you!" Soon I heard more footsteps coming downstairs.
"Hey!" She said with a huge smile. "I see you've already met my mother. Great, let's go upstairs now," she then pulled me into the house. I quickly took off my shoes and followed her into her room. She then closed her door.
"Did my mom interrogate you?" She said with a grin. I shook my head.
"Nope, at least not yet," we both laughed.
"Good because she thinks every guy friend of mine is my new boyfriend," she rolled her eyes.
"Oh ma god I hope she doesn't think that because we're both dating other people," I said awkwardly. She chuckled obviously not noticing the awkwardness in my voice.
"By the way, how are you and Catt doing?" She asked as she sat cross legged next to me. I sighed.
"I don't know honestly. Catt seems to be getting angry at me with everything I do. I cant even talk to you," I said sadly shaking my head.
"She wasn't like that before I'm guessing," Kirstin said sadly.
"Nope she was actually nice. Nowadays she's more of a drama queen than Regina George and that is hard to do," we both laughed. All of the sudden my phone starts ringing. It was Catt.
"Are you coming tonight or what?" Catt asked pissed off.
"I'm confused what's going on?" I asked. Catt groaned.
"Mitchy I texted you an hour ago telling you the group was getting together at my place to watch Tyler's documentary he made about his life on tour," I sighed.
"I can't right now Catt I'm busy," I said sadly, "tell Tyler congrats and I'm sorry I couldn't make it," I sighed. Catt scoffed.
"How come you're always busy all of the sudden? What are you doing Mitch?" She asked angrily.
"I'm hanging out with a friend outside of school and I can't just ditch them Catt," I said sassily, "I'm sorry okay," I then hung up and looked at Kirstin.
"You can go if you want, we can hang tomorrow if you'd like?" I smiled and nodded my head.
"Thanks you're the best! I'll see you around noon tomorrow? I say lets go to the mall," Kirstin nodded in agreement before hugging me.
"Bye Mitch!" She said waving at me as I left her room.
"Bye Kirst!" She then closed her door and I made my way down the stairs and out the door, to face Catt. I then drove to Catt's house, stopping to get gas first. I then rushed to her house and arrived promptly. After I knocked and was welcomed into the house, I couldn't believe what I heard....
