Kirstin's POV
Okay so here's my problem. I just said yes to Jeremy asking me if I wanted to be his girlfriend. Then I pulled some Frozen shit, and bam we're dating, best day ever right? Yeah it was the best fucking day ever until realization hit home, literally. At my old home, waiting to see me, was my real fucking boyfriend. Matt. Matt and I have most definitely lost our spark and I believe that it is time to break his heart, and it won't be easy ladies. I sigh as I take my phone out of my pocket, and open messages. I go to his contact and begin typing.Kweenkirst12: Matt, ever since I've moved away, I feel like we've lost our spark. We don't talk as much as we should. And we treat each other like friends. I think it's time we break up. Honestly, I only think of you as a friend now. I'm sorry.
Mcmatt: yeah whatever. I met this other girl and I was actually going to break up with you soon anyways. We can still be friends right?
Kweenkirst12: of course. We've been best friends like our entire lives, I would hate losing our relationship.
Mcmatt: definitely. I love you Kirstin... As a friend
Kweenkirst12: I love you too Matt... Also as a friendHmm well that went easier than planned. I sighed in relief and took out my music history composer assignment. Now to think of a very famous composer.
Mitch's POV
"Babe come on! Everyone is waiting," Catt whined as I grabbed my phone.
"I'm sorry, I just got distracted by something," yeah that something being Kirstin.
"Oh did Mr Osbourne give you a big ass assignment again," I swear to god he's a bitch when it comes to homework, but fortunately not this time, but I lied.
"Yeah totally," Catt smiled and linked arms with me. We then headed out to the limo and all climbed in. Tonight, even though it was a Sunday, was partying night. It was the night where everybody who was anybody showed up and got the lucky chance to party with us popular kids. It was very exclusive and you had to be referred as Catt called it. I would've referred Kirstin by now, but it is very obvious she wants nothing to do with me or Catt. I sighed as we parked outside the large house, the music blaring so loud the house was practically shaking.
"Who's house is this?" I whispered in Catt's ear. She smiled and grabbed onto my hand.
"This is Jeremy Lewis's house. Apparently he's new and has no parents home, perfect time to ask him to join us!" She squealed. It was adorable, I'll admit. We interlocked hands as we entered the house. Colourful lights shined on every area of the room as Beyoncé blared through the speakers. Everyone was dancing. Luckily there were no drinks, I had school tomorrow and I had no intentions of drinking.
"Where's the beer? And the vodka? What kind of party doesn't have booze!?" Catt yelled. I pulled her away from Jeremy in embarrassment.
"Catt stop, he's new he doesn't quite get what these are for yet, I say we let him join then tell him what these are about, okay?" She nodded quietly before running back to Jeremy and apologizing. God, I love her so much. We then danced the night away, even without booze the party was still amazing. It was approximately 11:45 when we left. I mostly wished it could've gone longer, but Jeremy kicked us all out because he needed to be ready for school. I don't blame him. He really seems like a good guy you know?September 19, 2016
Today was the first day I have gone to school on a Monday completely sober. No alcohol was in my system thanks to Jeremy. He really is a great guy. I happily make my way over to his locker where I see him and another girl talking, he must've picked up a lady last night because they were obviously doing some PDA shit.
"Hey Jeremy! Nice party last night!" He looked up from the girl and smiled at me.
"Thanks man! It was nothing according to Catt though" the girl turned around to reveal.... Kirstin?
"I-I've got to get going Jer, see you at lunch?" He nodded and pecked her lips. I watched the whole scene and felt something weird in my stomach, what was it? Why did I not like the fact he was the one kissing her?
"Anyways Mitch, Catt invited me to join your little group and I'm flattered, so when do I start?" he asks politely, as if this is an interview. I chuckled.
"You start tomorrow, Kirstin is not in our group though so you may not see her very often," he shrugged.
"I'm not a busy guy. I can figure out times to hang out with her any day except Sunday or Wednesday at lunch," I smiled.
"Good you know the schedule," I said handing him my number.
"Here's my digits if you have any questions or if you just simply want to hang out," he smiled and folded the slip of paper into his pocket. I then made my way over to Catt who had a huge stack of posters in her arms.
"Prom queen duties?" I said with a smirk before grabbing the sheets of paper from her. She smiled and pecked my lips.
"Yup and my king has to help me," I chuckled and followed her around the hall, her grabbing a poster off of my arms every so often. Finally we made it back to our lockers. Suddenly the warning bell rang. We both quickly grabbed our books and ran hand-in-hand to home room. Kirstin, as usual, sat with her group of friends at the front of the class, while my group stayed at the back of the class laughing. Catt gagged as we walked by Kirstin.
"She totally overreacted about the picture honestly. It wasn't that big of a deal, seeing her fat was just too hilarious not to touch," I gulped and winced at everyone of Catt's words.
"Y-yeah totally," I stuttered. Catt noticed and raised an eyebrow at me.
"You okay?" She asked. I nodded.
"Yeah let's just sit down," I sighed as I plumped down in my seat. I looked forward and saw Kirstin and her new boyfriend talking and laughing. At least she was happy, that was all I cared about. I'd rather have Kirstin be happy with another guy than be depressed over me. What am I saying? I'm not jealous. She has every right to date Jeremy. He's a great guy, he's perfect. Kirstin deserves him. Catt took a poster out of her bag and began walking to Kirstin.
"Catt stop bugging her, she's been through enough," I pleaded. Catt completely ignored me and continued walking. I joined her so I could save Kirstin from further damage. I know, I'm very kind.
"Hey Krusty! So I'm running for prom queen as you already know, and even though we both know I am going to win, I should still participate in "who has the cutest posters" right? Anyways I think you should totally run for queen! If people saw your fat photo on your poster, they'd be sending in 1000's of votes each second," Kirstin glared at her.
"Catt can you please stop?" Kirstin asked clearly irritated.
"We get it, you think you're perfect. Just please stop bugging me," she then turned back to Jeremy, completely ignoring my presence, Jeremy even gave me a sad look. At least someone is on my side. I sighed and took out my phone. If she won't talk to me, I might as well just text her, right?MXGrassi: Hey I know you hate me rn. I was kind of a jerk
MXGrassi: I'm so sorry
MXGrassi: our project is due this Wednesday so we have to rehearse either 2day or 2moro
MXGrassi: come on! We both know u hate bad grades....
Kweenkirst12: how did you even get my number?
MXGrassi: my secret system;)
Kweenkirst12: whatever. Let's go to your house again after school.
MXGrassi: does this mean you don't hate me anymore?
Kweenkirst12: I don't hate you, I'm just not super fond of you rn. Plus I'm only doing this for good grades.
MXGrassi: okay :( I just miss hanging out with you.
Kweenkirst12: you ruined it dude.
Her glance met my stare as she finally looked up from her phone. She scoffed and rolled her eyes at me before turning back to her friends. At least she's happy with them, that is all that matters to me.
