The title of this chapter practically screams what's going to happen. It's quite obvious what they're hiding but this character is supposed to be quite oblivious in things like this so I hope you enjoy her reaction!

Inigo showed Zoe the art room that she was going to be in for the next hour before talking to Saoirse quietly about something and leaving. It was quite scary without him. Zoe realised that she’d relied on him a lot already and it was only the first day! She was completely alone.
Okay, so Saoirse was there, but she didn’t know her very well and would feel a bit silly asking to hang around with her and her friends. It felt as if she’d lost an arm, nothing to fall back on, something like that.
Sebastian was there, thank goodness. He let her sit next to him and he smiled at her until she felt uncomfortable. He would have to do. So what if he’d hurt her? He’d apologised and they seemed to get on quite well. Also, he’d licked her cheek, something that should have felt disgusting but was actually quite nice in a weird way. That might have been why she was so tensed up when she sat down and he watched her with his wonderful dark eyes. She felt nervous around him, giggly like a child.
“Pick a fantasy creature.” He said mysteriously to her, leaning in slightly so only she could hear. She felt special because of it. He was definitely cryptic and that’s exactly what she liked.
None of the teachers she had had today had really talked to the students. They had just realised what to do straight away. How, Zoe didn’t know. It was unusual. It was as if the teachers didn’t need to teach because the students knew everything already, what to do, how to do it and everything. What was the point in having teachers when they weren’t going to do anything?
Zoe thought, bringing herself back into the creative mood. She thought back to the subject which they were starting. There were so many fantasy creatures that she liked. Most of them were ones she had read about in the many books she had or in books she had got from the library at her different schools. Werewolves, vampires, unicorns, Godzilla, mermaids, Pegasus’s, king Kong, goblins, demons, the devil, ogres, fairies. There were so many to choose. Which one would be the best? She thought of herself drawing each one and how she would draw it.
Well, unicorns and Pegasus’s were out. She couldn’t draw horses to save her life. There was so much to do involving horses. The shapes of the body was the worst part for Zoe to draw because she just couldn’t imagine a horse standing that way and know where each part went. Each bit was either too small or too big or the wrong shape. The shading too, was difficult, knowing where to put the shade and which way the light was coming from. It was just too much to think about. She definitely wasn’t born to draw.
Godzilla, werewolves, King Kong, Goblins, demons, ogres and the devil were also out. They were hard to draw and she knew that they wouldn’t look right. Godzilla was a lizard; she couldn’t even remember the last time she drew one of them. Also, she wasn’t too familiar with Godzilla compared to the others. It was the one fantasy creature she knew hardly anything about because she found the films boring and old fashioned.
Werewolves were bad because there were so many forms to draw them. They could be transforming or more dog than human or more human than dog. She didn’t know which was more accurate and she certainly didn’t want to be corrected about it. It was best to go safe.
King Kong was a massive creature. It would definitely be too hard to draw him. Zoe preferred making the pictures bigger rather than smaller because then the detail could be seen so much more clearly. With King Kong being the size that he was, she couldn’t possibly fit him all on the page. He had so much detail and it would take ages, so much longer than she actually had to draw the creature. Also, the amount of fur the thing had was amazing. She was sure the rest of the students would be annoyed if she used all of their black materials.
