Luke's POV
I sit down at the lunch table. I scan the lunch room and see the hockey players. They're like our natural enemies. We hate them they hate us. It's always been like this. ALWAYS.
"Hey guys." Calum sits down.
"Hey man." I say
Heather, Tilly, Cassie, and Brenna sit down and begin chatting about some really hot band or whatever.
"Hey did you guys see the new girl?" Justin asked
"Yeah she's hot man." Owen says
"Are you talking about that one girl from homeroom?" Heather asks
They all nod. "Ew. She's not even that pretty." Heather scoffs
"Are you blind? She gorgeous." James says
"No she really isn't." Heather retorts
Cassie rolls her eyes. "Come on Heather. She's really pretty. You're just jealous." She laughs lightly
"I am not jealous." Heather says
"Sure you aren't." Cassie says. If anything Cassie is probably the nicest person ever. I'm actually surprised that Heather let her in the group.
"What do you think about the new girl, Luke?" Tilly asks
"I haven't even seen her." I say
"You're missing out man." Calum says
"What's her name?" I asks
"I don't know. Becca? Brittany? Something like that." Heather says
"Hmmm..." I wonder
While everyone else was having their own conversation, Tilly turns to me. "So are you going to the party this weekend?"
"Yeah." I smile
"Cool. Um are you doing anything today after school?" She asks
"Um...no. I don't think so." I say
"Did you maybe want to go-"
"DIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNG!!" the bell rings and we all scurry out of the cafeteria
"Oh I'm sorry I have to go to Calculus." I say
"Okay bye."
"Bye." I give her a fake smile
