Brooke's POV

"It was..." I bite my lip

"Perfect?" Cass grins

"Perfect." I confirm

"Ahhh!" Cassie squeals

I smile and play with my food on the lunch tray. I keep thinking about that night. I keep thinking about Luke. I know it's wrong because of Ashton, but there's something there. There's always been something there.

"So, you and Luke are...?"

I sigh. "I'm not sure. Ashton is still in the picture and I can't hurt him. I just can't."

She nods understandingly. "Yeah I get it."

Soon two hands are covering my eyes. "Guess who?" Ashton asks

"Hmmm...Zac Effron?" I tease

The two hands are removed and Ashton laughs. "Nice try." He sits beside me. One leg under the table and the other on the other side. He faces me.

"Yes?" I ask

He kisses my cheek and I laugh. "Well someone's a little lovey dovey today."

"What can I say?" He shrugs

I smile. Soon Luke and Calum arrive. They sit across from us and I can't help but stare at Luke. He makes eye contact and smiles.

"Practice today, after school." Ashton says

"Sweet. We're gonna rock this." Cal says

"Totally." Michael says

Cass kicks me and I look at her. "What?" I mouth

She lifts one brow and smirks. I shake my head and mouth 'no'. She laughs and continues eating.

I like Luke. I like Ashton. But I liked Ashton first. Wait, no I mean technically I liked Luke first and I didn't get over him. I fell for Ashton though...

"What's wrong babe?" Ashton asks

"Um, nothing." I force a smile

"Uh okay. Well, I have to go. Movies tonight?" Ashton asks

I nod. "Yeah."

He kisses me and I kiss back. "Bye."

"Bye." I say to Michael and Ashton.

Cassie looks at me. "So you guys are going to the movies?"

"Yeah we're going to see some romantic movie." I say and shrug

Luke laughs. "You hate romance movies."

"Yeah I know." I laugh

Cass looks at Luke. "Wow, Luke. You really know a lot about Brooke. Aw why don't you guys become a couple?" She teases

Luke and I both choke on our food. "Cass!"

Calum smirks as he catches her drift. "I can feel the sexual tension. Can't you, Cass?"

"Yeah hmm, I can Cal." Cass smiles

"Ha ha. No." I say

"Maybe? A little?" Cal teases me

Luke and I begin blushing. "Shut up."

"Now." Luke says

The two high five each other and leave the cafeteria room. "You told her?" Luke asks

"You didn't tell her?" I ask

He shuts up. "You did too?" I ask

"She's my best friend."

"Well, she's mine too." I laugh

Luke smiles. "So romantic movie, huh?"

"Shuttup." I push him and get up

"Aw I'm sorry. Don't leave." He laughs

"I gotta get to classss." I say

He rolls his eyes and gets up too. "When can I see you?"

"Never." I tease

"You hurt me." He holds his chest

"Suck it up, you big baby." I poke him

"Bye, B."

"Bye Lukey Pukey." I laugh
