The Epilogue

2 Years Later...

The bells jingle, tell me someone has entered the store. I look at the clock and groan. 5 minutes before we close. "Umm sorry closed." I continue wiping the counters.

"I really wanted a coffee though." A guy says.

"Well guess you have to go somewhere else." I turn around and my mouth drops. "Luke..." I grin, running over to him.

"Hi, Brooke." He smiles shyly.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were on tour?" I examine his face making sure he's real.

"We get a small break. God, you look great." He says, and spins me around.

"Pshh no, you should've called first." I walk him over to a table. "Wow, two whole years."

"Two years." He repeats, "I need to fill you in, huh?"

"Yes, you idiot." I push his shoulder.

"So, we made it, B, thanks to you..." He starts. And we sat there talking. Like he never left. He came back and you know what that means.
