Chapter 3 - Best News!

I woke up to Mark licking me. What's with this dog?
"What is it, Mark?" I told him and he just sat down wagged his tail. You sighed.

"Probably just wants me to wake up." I looked at my clock and it read 11:30 am.

"Did I seriously slept that long?" I said and Mark barked like he was saying 'yes'. Mark then went to the window and looked out the street. I followed him and saw a car park near the orphanage. I saw Mark and Barry get out of  their car.

"Oh no! I have to shower!" You whisper-yelled as you hurried to the bathroom with your clothes and took a shower.

As soon as you got out of the bathroom, you saw Mark and Barry at the bottom of the stairs. You ran towards your room and tried your best to clean up but a minute later someone knocked on your door. You went to open it and Barry was there.

"Hey, kid!" Barry said stepping in and closing the door.

"Hi, Barry!" I replied while giving him a hug, he hugged back. We pulled away and Mark came closer to us and Barry scratched his head while Mark wagged his tail.

"Sam, I have some important news for you." Barry said.

"Ok, what is it?" You asked scared if it was bad.

"I'm gonna be your dad!" Barry said.

"W-what?! Y-you....my dad? I-I can't....you....what?! T-thank you." You said with the biggest smile you ever made. You ran to him planted your face on his chest and started crying while hugging him.

"Shh shh, Sam. It's ok. You don't need to cry." He said in a really comforting voice. You started to calm yourself down and you looked at him. He had a smile that was as big as yours. You pulled away.

"Thank you, Barry for making my life happier." You said.

Mark's POV (kinda the same time Barry went in Sam's room)

I went to Olivia's room which surprisingly was right next to Sam's room. I knocked on the door and heard someone say, "Come in!".

I opened the door to see Olivia lying on her bed with headphones on. I closed the door.

"Hello! I need to talk to you about something." I told her as she stood up.

"Oh, ok then. What's it about?" Olivia asked taking off her headphones.

"Well..." I said.

"What is it Mark?" Olivia said.

"I'm gonna be your dad!" I said smiling. I looked at her, she had her jaw to the floor.

"Wha?! Wait....is this a prank? Did Barry or Sam tell you to do this?" She said crossing her arms in disbelief.

"No, I'm serious! This isn't a prank. I even have the paperwork right here!" I replied pulling out the adoption papers.

"I-I can't believe it...this is a dream is it?" She said looking down at the floor.

"Nope, this isn't a dream. This is hooman Mark with hooman hands and hooman feet!" I said and she giggles.

"Thank you, Mark." Olivia said giving me a big bear hug. I hugged back.

-TIME SKIP TO LATER AFTERNOON-

Sam's POV

Barry and Mark said that they had to do stuff so they're gonna leave Olivia and I with some people that Barry works with for a day or two. I didn't really care if it was my temporary home because I'm just happy to have a new family!

Barry said that we should just pack up clothes for a few days then we'll get the rest of our stuff at a later day. I packed up clothes and other stuff that I needed. I also packed up some dog food and dog treats for Mark and grabbed a few of his toys.

I was waiting in my room since I was ready and then I saw Mark and Barry outside. I walked to Olivia's room and knocked on the door. She came out with headphones on and a bag filled with her stuff.

"They're here, dude!" I told Olivia.

"They are?! I was busy listening to music while drawing, sorry." Olivia said.

"It's fine dude! Good thing you have me to look out for you." I said doing a Papyrus pose. Mark and Barry then came in after.

"Hey kiddos, ready to go?" Barry said in his Sans voice as he saw my pose.

"Yes, Brother-slash-Dad cuz you know...whatever!" I said in my best Papyrus voice but then returning to my normal voice.

"That's good to hear, Sam." Barry replied.

"What about you Olivia?" Mark asked Olivia.

"Oh, I'm ready!" Olivia replied excitedly.

"Good." Mark said.

"So, Mark and I have things to do and we want this to be done ASAP so let's get going!" Barry said. We nodded as we followed Barry downstairs to get to his car.

We put our stuff in the trunk and I sat at the front with Mark on my lap and Barry was the driver. Olivia sat with Mark at the back. It took a while and we got there.

"Here we are-- the Grump Space!" Barry said getting out of the car. They helped us carry our stuff and as we went in, there were 6 people who came to us first. This is gonna be a really exciting day!

hOI! It's me, back again with another lame chapter. Just so you know, I don't really edit my chapters because I don't have time, unless it's really bad, so if there's some stuff that doesn't make any sense, here's my excuse.
