Chapter 11 - Looking For A Gift

A few months later...

It's December which means Dad's birthday is coming up. I want a gift that is really special, but not fancy or expensive. I need a gift that shows how much I appreciate him and how much he's done for me, and something that shows that everyone had a part in it. '

My deadline is December 3 which means I have 2 days to work on a gift. The first thing I have to do right now is to think of what kind of gift.' You thought to yourself as you called different people to get suggestions on what kind of gift. You took notes, and this is what you got.

Gifts:
•Grump Family picture (framed) - Me
•Book - Holly
•Drawing of wolfjob with Barry as the man (framed) - Danny
•Drawing (framed) - Arin
•Pop! figurine - a random trash can
•Candy - Suzy
•Sing a song - Brian 
•Prank him - Ross
•Narwhal plushie - Kevin
•Barry Grump plushie - Olivia
•Foxy plushie - Mark

You looked through the list and decided on one that you thought was super special. You told the rest of the Grumps, except for Barry, about your gift. Holly helped you get a frame that was customizable and she painted it in a really cool design, Suzy put some plastic butterflies on it, Arin put all the grumps' faces around it, Ross drew a d*ckbutt on the back, Mark drew a warfstache, Olivia put a well drawn Burgie, and Dan, Brian and I just wrote little notes on the back along with everyone else's drawings. The whole thing took 2 days since you still had to record videos and edit.

"Thanks guys. I couldn't have done it without all of you." I said as I gave them hugs. I got the picture I needed and put it in the frame. I put the whole thing in a purple box and topped it off with an orange bow, the one that is the Game Grumps background. I put a tag on it saying, 'To: Barry.    From: The Grump Family'. I hid the gift somewhere no one would know and went back to the grumps. 

Barry's POV

We recorded more videos which also meant editing more, but since Matt and Ryan became editors too, working got a lot easier. The two days was just filled with work upon work, but it was something I loved to do. At night, we just decided on watching a movie before everyone left. It was really good and interesting, but everyone was tired and asleep that I had no one to talk about the movie with. I can hear everyone's diverse snores. I yawned.

"Come on, now. We have to go. It's pretty late." I said to Sam quietly as I started to pick her up.

"Hey Barry, you know you can stay here for the night if you want to. Everyone's passed out anyway." Suzy said out of no where which startled me.

"You scared me. Also, thanks for letting us stay. I'll just be right here..." I said as I slouched on the couch with Sam's head on my lap.

"Goodnight, Barry." Suzy said as she left. I closed my eyes, and all I could think about was everything that I received this year.

'Sam...the Grumps...the...' I thought to myself as I drifted off to sleep. I had a peaceful and quiet rest, with the exception of everyone snoring. I was just very excited for my 27th birthday.

Suh dudes! I know it's been a while since I updated, but what do you think of the book so far? I already thought of an ending way before I decided to write it.
