I just stared at his pale lifeless body. My tears stopped falling minutes ago, I can hear Near shuffling in the background while I ignored everything around me. Another loss.
"You okay?" Near asked behind me, Gevanni and Rester had already prepared the body so that it can be put in a coffin. While that happened, I just sat on the bed where he used to lay down. It just happened too fast that I can't comprehend.
"Of course not." was my blank response. "I couldn't wait until the day comes we catch Kira. I want to see the look on his face when he realizes that he loses. Although, without Mello and Matt we couldn't have done it and we might've fell right into Kira's trap."
"Yes. You're quite right about that. It seems like Mello had realized something, sadly it all fell to their doom." Near spoke, I'm surprised he even admitted that. Either way the said day is close, in all honest I want to inflict pain on Light/Kira. Like remove his nails, stab him or something.
Woah, Woah. No. Let's not get there.
Mello, Matt, L, mom, S/N. You'll all be avenged.
