Chapter By: Merry

Pippin: Sorry, I don't want to write this chapter. It's too sad for me... you will soon find out, Frodo.

Merry: I will write this even though it's sad. Here goes...

Merry and Pippin stayed put where they were as the other four jumped out from behind the rocks to fight. They knew they had caused enough trouble already and just sat there and watched the battle take place. Aragorn slashed at all the Kamuto's that kept coming into the cave and tried not to let them heal each other once they were dead. He yelled to the others and said,

"Watch out for the stingers! You will be dead if one touches you!"

There were orcs pouring into the cave now and Gimli and Legolas fought them back while trying to push themselves out of the cave without getting stabbed or stung. Boromir stayed back and shielded anything that came to close to Merry and Pippin or himself. Gimli and Legolas soon got out of the cave and tried fighting all the orcs out of the cave and making sure none got inside. Aragorn still fought as many of the Kamuto's as possible.

Merry tried leaving the hiding spot once, but Boromir pushed him back and told him to stay put and reminded him that the orcs where after the Hobbits only. The Kamuto's kept healing other dead Kamuto's and that made the battle harder and harder.

"Watch out!" Merry shouted to Boromir.

Boromir turned and saw a stinger heading for his face. He cut it down with his sword quickly and then kept fighting other ones. Little did anyone know that a dead Kamuto was coming back to life at Boromir's feet. Nobody knew it until its pointy stinger pierced right into Boromir's boot. He didn't feel it at first, but once the stinger reached his bare foot, he felt sick and collapsed to the ground very suddenly.

His sword hit the stone ground hard and Aragorn and the Hobbits both turned around to the clang it made. Aragorn knew what must have happened and kept fighting, but harder and quicker not letting any other creature pass.

Merry then realized the stinger lodged into Boromir's boot. Then Pippin saw it too a moment later. Merry took his sword that Galadriel gave him and stabbed the ugly Kamuto right in its head. It fell and died. Merry and Pippin then leaped out from behind the rocks and got on either side of Boromir. No orcs were coming back into the cave yet thankfully, but they soon would be if Legolas and Gimli couldn't handle them outside; if there were too many.

Boromir had turned pale and limp.

"The poison is spreading too fast!" Merry said panicked.

Boromir started off into space but said something. His voice sounded weak and very much stretched.

"It's over for me guys... be safe... if you see my brother...tell him I'm... sorry..."

"No, no, no! Please stay, please stay!" Pippin pleaded and shook his shoulder a little.

Boromir said nothing and kept staring at the wall in front of him blankly.

"He's gone..." Merry said under his breath.

Pippin couldn't believe it and buried his face into Boromir's limp body.

"No," he whimpered through his clothes.

"Yes," Merry said even though he couldn't believe it either. He just stared now at the lifeless body.

Orcs started pouring into the cave now and Aragorn threw with all his might his sword at each one. Legolas and Gimli weren't anywhere in sight and there were too many orcs flowing in.

The next thing Merry knew was that he was staring face to face with a very large orc. It was about three times the size of him. Merry held up his sword and slashed at the orc. But the orc was too fast and grabbed the sword and threw it across the cave. Before Merry could back away, the orcs grabbed his wrist and twisted hard. Merry screamed bent over a little and the orc took its chance and lifted him off the ground harshly.

Pippin's face was still buried in Boromir's body and everything was a blur to him. He couldn't hear or see anything. It was like he was blocking everything out because of his sadness. There was no more growling from the orcs, Merry yelling and screaming, or clashing of swords.

Another orc was going for Pippin now and Merry yelled,

"Pip! Get up!"

Merry twisted from the orc and got free. But only for a second because quickly after, the orc swung its sword and it sliced the right side of Merry's forehead open. He screamed again and clutched his now bleeding forehead. The last thing he remembered was the orc ruffley picking him up again and then passing out.

Pippin: I guess I do have to write now since Merry passed out and didn't remember anything. Here goes...

Last part of Chapter by: Pippin

Pippin was still sitting next to Boromir dizzily when two strong arms yanked him up by his shirt. Pippin then became a little aware of what was going on and yelled for Aragorn. But then he realized he was gone, and so were Legolas and Gimli. Pippin then saw another orc carrying Merry and was sickened to see that he was hurt and unconscious.

There was nothing he could do except thrash his body around and hope to fall out of the arms of the orc. But it was no use; he was too weak for the powerful orcs. The orcs carried them out of the cave and into the rocky plain up ahead.

A/N: What do you think? I had Merry got the gash in his head because if you remember from the movie he had it in the Two Towers, but it never showed it happening. And yes, Boromir died now... i have never done a death scene before, so I'm not sure how it turned out, but i think it was okay.
