Ellie fell on her bed with a huge smile on her face, and every few minutes let out a little squeal. She held the leftover flowers tightly to her and giggled at them.
This is a side of you I don't want to see.
"Isn't it wonderful, Zero?"
No, actually.
"He likes me."
Please kill me.
"He genuinely likes me."
I can't take these hormones.
Suddenly Ellie's heart sank. "What is Dr. Collins going to say? There's no way he'll let me out," she told him.
Oh, no. That's too bad.
"Go see."
Whatever.
Zero left Ellie and went to listen to Jack and Collins.
"Absolutely not," Dr. Collins said. "You know the dangers. They've already got us under surveillance."
"But Uncle Charles-"
"No, Jacklin!" He yelled. Immediately he apologized for raising his voice.
"Now go make me some coffee."
"Yes, Uncle Charles."
Looks like you're stuck here, what a pity, too bad, maybe next year.
Zero caught up to Jack.
"Zero, don't-"
Zero knocked the cup of coffee onto him, then came back to Ellie hoping she'd give up, but she didn't. She stomped out of her room and all the way to Collins' office to confront him.

"Why not?"
"El, you know why."
"No, I don't. I don't understand why I can't have fun one time. One time!" She argued.
"Because the government is watching us!" He exclaimed. "They've got us under surveillance and one more slip up from you and the entire place is shut down. They're scared of you, El, they're scared of Zero." He said. "Besides he's too old for you."
"Your coffee," Jack said walking in to the room. "Sorry Ellie, maybe another time," he smiled.
"Jack, you've got a large stain on your shirt," Collins pointed out.
"I know. I know that," he said, winking at Ellie. The room was quiet after he left. Sighing, she slumped down in the chair across Collins.
"You hear that, Zero? One more slip up."

"AAAHHHHGHHHHH" Ellie shrieked into her pillow.
You don't need him Ellie, you've got me.
"Great."
