I was 15 when it happened. I was in a friends birthday party. Everybody from my class was there, even my crush. After we sang happy birthday and cut the cake, I saw my crush kissing my bully.

I rushed to the bathroom and cried. My heart broke. I knew my bully was kissing him because I liked him, but it still hurt. That night, I cut myself with a broken mirror. I cut my arms, stomach, and thighs. I called myself fat, ugly, and stupid. Those were the same names my bully called me.

He broke up with my bully 2 weeks later. A month later, my crush told me he knew I was cutting and wanted me to stop. I stopped for a while but I only did it for him.I started again when I heard him say mean things about me to his friends and my bully kept making my life even worse.

Anger grew towards him. I felt glad when I knew that he wasn't coming back next year.
Months past and school was finally over. Summer was here. He threw a party in his house to celebrate the end of the school year. I went because my friend told me to.

I was sitting alone on the couch while my friends danced with some guys. He came over and asked me to dance with him. I accepted because I still had feelings for him. As we danced, he told me that he loved me and how sorry he was for being a jerk and kissed me. He was my first kiss.

I felt so happy for the first time in months. I was hoping he would ask me to be his girlfriend, it never happened.Two months later, another birthday came. He avoided me during the party. After the party, he told me that he only said that because he felt sorry for me.

That night, I cut again. I was feeling anger and disappointment in my veins.

A year finally past and I learned to forget and move on. I was also clean. Now I have a girlfriend(I'm bisexual) who I love with all my heart and she loves me back with all my flaws.
