When I'm Lying In Your Arms (A Yu-Gi-Oh! Puzzleshipping Fanfiction!)

Chapter 26

     "Okay, so any idea how to do this?" Heba asked as he put down a cup of coffee in front of Atemu on the table and a cup of milk in front of Yugi and a cup of tea for himself. "I bet, they're waiting in Oryx with Yami under their ministration" Atemu said as he took a sip of his warm coffee. "That means, Yami is acting as a bait" Heba guessed and sighed.

      "You know, we can always attack them directly." Atemu rolled his eyes as he heard the suggestion from Heba "And how do you know that plan can work?" all Atemu got was just a shrug from Heba as the respond. "My dear habibi, they will use Yami to make us stop attacking them" he said as he slapped his forehead and sighed deeply.

      Atemu eyed Yugi and silently he kicked Heba's foot from under the table. Heba jumped on his chair making him snapped his head to Atemu. Atemu shook his head to Yugi and Heba's mouth formed an 'o' and cleared his throat.

     "Yugi, it's the best if you help us" Yugi groaned and hid his face on his hand "I don't want to, I will messed this up" he mumbled. After what happen to him and losing Yami from his hand, Yugi was so afraid to do anything that can endangered the earth. He even sometimes wish that he's dead so nothing can happen.

      Nonetheless, deep down he knew he has to save Yami from the three siblings that they encountered at the 'other' world. 

      Suddenly a slam on the table caught their attention. Their gaze immediately moved to Atemu who just randomly slapped the table.

     "Ambush." That's the only thing he said before he ran out from the kitchen. Heba raised one of his eyebrows in confusion and looked to Yugi as Yugi looked back to him. Heba shrugged his shoulders before following to where Atemu going and soon followed by perplexed Yugi.

     Atemu pressed a switch light and slowly a short pair of staircase unfolded from the ceiling, showing a dark room above him. "Ate, why are we going to the attic?" Heba asked as his eyes saw his lovers climbed up to the eerie attic and Atemu turned on the light making the dusty room visible to normal eyes.

      Both Heba and Yugi  climbed up to the attic and spotted Atemu going through an old chest filled with many forgotten items from the ancient Egypt. "Ambush habibi, don't you get it?." He coughed as the dust scattered everywhere in the air around him.

      Heba shook his head and started to infer "You mean ambush them? How?" Finally a smile came to Atemu's face and he showed what he got to both Heba and Yugi "This is how we ambush them" he said proudly.

     As both Atem and Heba got lost in their planning, Yugi looked around the attic that filled with so many ancient Egypt artifacts and scrolls but, a certain scrolls caught his attention as if the scroll is calling his name out. Yugi slowly walked to the opened cupboard and took the stand out scroll.

     He slowly took it from the cupboard and unrolled the seal and he couldn't believe what his eyes just see. He just found a way to save the earth, forever from the wicked siblings. But with a big cost that could impact all people near him. He closed his eyes, thinking what choice he will take and then  "This is for the best" he whispered as remembered words by words that written elegantly on the scroll.

     Thus by the end of the day, the three are set to free Yami from their enemies and fix Yugi's mistake, ending all this madness that can put earth in ill-protected forever. Yugi took a deep breath as he looked at himself at the mirror with a full determination in his amethyst eyes "One chance Yugi, only one chance"

      He walked out from his bedroom and meet down with both Heba and Atemu in the living room "You ready Yugi?" Atemu asked as Yugi noticed a sword in its sheath tied to around his waist and also A bow and dozens of arrows on Heba's back "Are weapons necessary?" Yugi asked.

      "No, not really. This weapons are backup just like you using your energy balls" Yugi furrowed his brows as he asked again "Why don't you both just use energy balls like Yami and I then?"

     "We will save as much energy as we can seeing that we can't predict what our enemy will do when we face them."Atem continue and  Yugi then slowly nodded as in understand. "Come now, let's do it" Atemu said said as he extended his hand to Yugi.

     Yugi nodded as he took his hand and a cue for the dangerous path in his life. No matter what happen, he put a big trust on his faith that will decide his future whether it's going to be a happy ever after or happy never after.

My writing is seriously getting bad day by day, I really need to exercise more.

Also, I have to be inactive fucking again because of a sudden family trip to another town, I'm hoping I can bring my laptop and a wifi actually exist where I'm going to stay for awhile so I can still active.
