Playtime is over

You groggily dragged your feet around, wiping one of your eyes as you walked around the house trying to find Ciel. You found him in the small library.
"Ciel what are you do-"
"Shhh this is important work," you slowly walked over to Ciel. He slowly put the last two cards on the pyramid and sighed before glancing at you. He rested his arm on his crossed leg and his head on the arm signaling he was listening.
"That's not important work, important work would be taking care of business, international business," you said and he got up and hugged you.
"Y/n you know I love you," he whispered and you blushed
"Yes," you said
"And I would do anything to keep you"
For some reason you too that phrase really seriously.
"umm.....yeah," you said "well I need breakfast....plus I want to hand with my friends until it's time to leave," you skipped away not noticing the look on Ciel's face.

Meanwhile at your house

Y/N's mom had dropped y/n off at her friends house a day ago, she would've stayed but figured Ciel knew how to keep Y/n in line an vice versa. She had just finished cooking and ran a hand through her short
h/c hair.
"I'm getting to old for this," she mumbled not noticing the shadow that loomed in the window.
There was a knock at the door and she answered it. She saw A blonde kid and a guy dressed in butler clothes (Alois and Claude) she wondered why they were at her door, because she didn't expect visitors.
Alois decided against visiting y/n and instead told Claude to take him to her house. This is how they ended up on y/n's doorstep.
"Hello Ms. L/n," Alois said sweetly
"You're that boy Ciel told me about," a pang of hurt rang through Alois chest.
Stupid puppy probably made a fool of the Trancy name
"Your name is lui, Louisi, Alois yes Alois," Y/n's mom clapped her hands together and the blonde raised a brow
"So what is it that you want," Y/n's mom asked
"The young lord's parents wrote in their will to have Alois have an arranged marriage with Y/n," Claude said pretending to wipe a tear
Y/n's mom turned softer, Alois looked like he was going to cry.
"I'm sorry for your loss please send condolences, however Y/n cannot have an arranged marriage....she has a right to choose who she wants to marry," Y/n's mom said and Alois turned all bipolar
"LISTEN BITCH Y/N IS THE MOST PRECIOUS THING IN THE WORLD AND I WANT HER FOR MYSELF, NOT JUST BECAUSE MY PARENTS WANT US MARRIED BUT BECAUSE I LOVE HER," Alois yelled and Y/n's mom slammed the door and locked it.
"What is wrong with the bloody children of today," she pulled the cookies she baked out of the oven.
Alois paced back and forth before getting an idea.
"Burn the house down," Alois said "make it look like an accident"

Y/n POV

Ciel and you were having a good time hanging with Cameron and the others. Nana Patty made us cookies and cakes.
We were currently waiting for your mom to pick the both of you up.
"she should be here by now," Grandmother Gloria whispered and you nodded.
Suddenly your phone rang and you looked at the caller ID.

Aunty claire?
"Hello," you said questioning why she was calling you
"Yes may I speak to Y/n"
"Speaking"
"Yes Y/n, I have bad news.....your mother accidentally left the oven running after cooking food"
"Ok she does that all the time"
"I'm not finished, she left
f/b/g (favorite baked goods) in the oven and they caught fire resulting in the house catching on fire.....your mother died in that fire, she was trapped under a beam that fell," your eyes widened and you clutched onto the phone tightly
"Y/n I'm sorry for your loss," you didn't care if she was sorry
"Y/n....Y/n please say something"
"Goodbye," you hung up the phone and put it in your pocket before tucking your hands in your pocket.
It began to lightly rain which turned out to get way harsher.
"Y/n was that your mom," Grandmother Gloria asked
"No my mother will not be here," you said shoving your hands in your pocket. Ciel raised a brow. "She won't be here ever again"
You began walking away as the others called for you. Everyone except Ciel and it was kinda like only you two were in the moment. Even though everyone was yelling and you were a far distance you could hear Ciel whisper.
"She's dead isn't she," that made you stop for a second before full on sprinting. You started making your journey home by foot, well journey to where your home should be.
You ran until your legs began to give out and thunder boomed scaring the sh*t out of you.
You saw a park and decided to sit in the slide, at least you wouldn't be wet there.
You curled up and cried a bit.
"Okaasan," you whispered feeling a tinge of pain in your chest
"Ciel"
Thunder boomed again and you only cried harder, for some reason thunder always haunted you.
"Y/n.....Y/N Sebastian stop here," you heard something come to a stop as footsteps came towards you. Ciel looked at you and scooped you into a hug.
"I was worried"
"She's dead Ciel," you replied monotone. Ciel pulled back from the hug a bit and looked into your now dead eyes.
"Yes that's sad," Ciel whispered "but at least you still have me to depend on"
He was right, he opened the car door and put you in the back seat where towels were sprawled all over the seats, Ciel got in and grabbed a rolled up towel to dry himself and you. Sebastian drove and the ride was silent. Your head was in Ciel's lap as he stroked your hair. You soon drifted off to sleep not hearing Ciel say
"I will get revenge for my love, you Y/n. I'll kill the bastard who hurt you and then no one will be in our way except for those tiny insects that I tend to crush"
