After placing the last box of small antiques into the U‐Haul truck, I smiled over at Pierce and placed my hand on his shoulder.
"Are you ready to move to Florida?" I asked happily and watched as he nodded, his expression showing that he was just as excited as me.
Pierce glanced back at the apartment complex grinned, "I am very ready," He said and began walking to the front of the truck, opening the passenger door, "I can't wait to finally be away from here."
I nodded while getting into the driver's seat and shutting the door, taking one last look at our old apartment, began driving off to our new one.

A little after I had retrieved the money from my father, I made a few flyers on selling my company. It didn't take very long until someone called me about it. Before I even knew it, I was signing the contract and selling it for $19,000.
The man that decided to buy my company was around his 20's, and seemed very excited to take over the business, completely prepared to make it his own. He kept telling me how he and his wife have both always enjoyed dancing and how it was his dream to set up his own studio for it. It really reminded me of when I was buying the company.
It was a little hard to say 'goodbye' to all my dancers and co‐workers. Ricky seemed to be extremely sad, which wasn't a surprise. Even though I barely knew anything about him, I could tell I was going to miss having his enthusiasm.
I even called Bella and told her about my leaving. All she said was "Have a nice time," and hung up. It was strange having her be so blunt about it, I honestly expected a little more than just that.
When Pierce and I began our packing, the brothers from the floor above us came down to say their farewells. Logan told me that Bella had called him and told him everything, and he wanted to see me to know that it was true. Brandon said that he will throw Pierce and me a goodbye party, but I kindly declined. I knew I wasn't going to miss them at all.
I decided to call Lori and tell her everything. She seemed pretty happy for us, and offered that Pierce and I can stay at her house until we find an apartment. I couldn't thank her enough.
During the call, she told me about Nick and his dad. It scared me to know that had happened. Nick is just so fragile and the fact that stuff like that keeps happening to him, makes me think that what if he wants to try and kill himself again?
Lori told me that my coming will definitely change things, especially his mood. It felt good to know that, and made me only want to move to Florida even more.

After about nine hours driving, I decided that Pierce and I should stop at a small motel and rest for the night. In the morning, we will go back to driving once again and go see Nick.
It was about seven o'clock by the time we got into the room. I felt exhausted, and a little sick from being in the car for so long. Pierce didn't seem to be tired, he slept during most of the drive anyway.
"Zack?" Pierce asked and jumped onto the small bed that laid in the middle of the room.
"Yes?" I said calmly and sat down on the bed next to him, feeling too tired to have a conversation right now.
Pierce looked down and played around with his fingers before speaking, "Do you, uh, think that Nick, um, is going to be happy to see me?"
I stared at him, really did miss Nick, whether he wants to admit it or not. It was heartbreaking to see him like this: so nervous and scared.
I smiled slightly and tilted my head, "Of course he will. And you did talk on the phone a few days ago, so why do you think otherwise?"
He slightly shrugged, "That was on the phone," He began while laying himself down on the bed, "Soon, we will be face – to – face, and, I don't know. It might change things."
I let out a heavy sigh and ruffled his hair, "I don't think it's going to change anything, Pierce."
Again, all Pierce did was shrug. He really shouldn't be feeling like this, Nick told me that he forgives Pierce, and right now was probably the perfect time for Pierce to become his friend once more.
"You just need to be his friend," I said. Before I could let Pierce speak I continued on, "He really needs one right now, so I'm sure that he's not going to be mad at you, or be awkward. He's going to be his normal self."
Pierce slightly smiled, "Are you positive about that?"
"Nick isn't the type to hold grudges," I said and slightly chuckled.
Pierce nodded in agreement and rolled over on the bed, telling me that he wanted to go to sleep.
I laid down myself and smiled. I am going to see Nick tomorrow.
