Five ~ Zack pov
"I think we're going to have a fun time working together for the summer," I say quietly in Nick's ear. I stand straight up and smile at him. His cheeks were incredibly red, making him look cuter then usual.
No. I can't be thinking about that stuff. He just turned sixteen and I'm nineteen, turning twenty this year! But honestly, I can't help but notice how adorable he is. His cute way of standing, his gorgeous blue eyes, his baby-like smile, just everything...
"Zack?" I heard a small voice say. I shake my head and return back into reality. I look at Nick who was swaying back on forth.
"I'm sorry," I mutter shaking my head, "Did you ask me something?"
Nick nods and tilts his head off to the side, "I asked what else are we going to do today?" He replies, adding a soft smile.
I tap my foot and think for a minute, I completely forgot I was going to do a private today so I didn't plan anything. Nick stays patient as I continue on thinking, I check the clock and see that there is thirty minutes left for him.
"Actually," I begin and walk towards the door, leading me to the lobby, "I'll be right back."
I hear Nick's faint voice reply saying 'okay' as I shut the door behind me. I head over to the desk, seeing Bella playing on her phone. I hate it when she does that, her phone always keeps her away from any work I give her.
I clear my throat and instantly she drops her phone and grins up at me, "How can I help you, Zack?" She asked nicely.
"First, put your phone away," I growl at her. She nods and places the device into her purse. "Thank you," I smile at her.
"Anything else?" She said, staring up at me.
"Yes, I want some of those information papers on the up-coming dance competitions," I say while tapping my fingers upon the desk.
Bella looks around the piles and stacks of papers that surrounded her before saying 'here they are!' and grabbing a small stack. She handed them to me and I nodded, heading back to the studio.
When I opened the door I saw Nick practicing his spinning, which was something he needed a little work on. I lean against the door frame and started to watch him. Mentally correcting his few mistakes.
Nick stopped and looked at me, a small amount of red washed over his face and he looked down. "That was good, Nick," I say and walk over to him..
He glanced up, a huge smile on his face. Seeing him that happy just warmed my heart in a way. Everyone else at the studio nods and says 'thanks' as if it means nothing to them. Nick actually cares, I love that.
"What are those papers?" He asked curiously.
I looked down at him, "Well," I began, "How would you like to go to a dance competition in a few weeks?" I asked.
Nick's eyes beamed and he began nodding quickly, "I would love too!" He exclaimed.
.:|:.
"Good work everybody!" I said to my oldest group of dancers as I watched the leave the lobby.
I smiled to myself and checked the time, it was almost 1, meaning Nick was going to be coming soon. It has been two weeks and everyday, besides weekends, Nick came by and worked his hardest on his new dance routine, preparing for his first ever dance competition. I could tell that he was excited for it, it's all he would ever talk about.
Throughout the past two weeks, I have learned more about him, like how he doesn't have any siblings, he's in many advanced classes, but he doesn't have many friends. He is obviously open about himself, telling me many things about himself. But I sort of kept to myself, if he asked question, I would answer but I don't go on and on about myself like he does.
I checked the time again, eager to see him. I keep telling myself that I shouldn't be like this, basically having a crush on a 16 year old boy, I mean. I can't help it though, it's not my fault, it's his for being so cute.
I heard the door open and I shot my head up, seeing Lori walk into the lobby, Nick following her like a baby duck. Today he was wearing sweat pants and a baggy blue shirt. Of course the clothes looking like they were a few sizes bigger made Nick look small.
"Hello, Zack," Lori said to me.
"Hi," I smiled at her and then looked over at Nick, "Hey, Nick, how's it going?"
Nick blushed slightly and grinned, "Fine."
"I guess I'll be going," Lori said, glancing at her watch, "Love you, Honey." She added and kissed Nick on the cheek.
"Bye, Mom," Nick said and watched her leave. He wasn't sad about her leaving like the first time he was here.
Lori gave one last wave goodbye before she left and was outside. I placed my hand on Nick's shoulder, and smiled down at him, "Ready to start practicing?" I asked him.
Nick looked up at me, the slight blush still present upon his cheeks, "Yes I am." He replied back to me.
I nodded and lead him over to Studio B. When we entered I pulled out a blue mat and asked Nick to being his stretching. He nodded and sat on the mat, starting to stretch his legs first.
"You know," I said and began to stretch myself,"The dance competition is only a few days away."
"I know!" Nick said with a smile plastered on his face, "I'm so excited!"
I nodded and got Nick's music I have chosen for his dance. I stuck the CD into my laptop and watched him finish up stretching.
"Uhm, Zack?" I heard Nick ask quietly.
"Yes?" I asked sounding a little annoyed, I just wanted to have him start dancing.
"Could you, help me?" He said, his face a deep shade of red.
I tilted my head in confusion, "With what, Nick?" I asked and set my laptop down.
"Stretching," He replied and quickly looked down.
I couldn't help but slightly smirk, "Of course I can," I said and walked over to him.
