"Close the door." Griff looks at me as Ty and I walk in.
I gently click it shut and jump onto Griff's beanbag. Ty sits next to me on the floor.
"This better be a good story." She mutters threateningly.
"It's about mom and dad. And why they split." Griff says looking her dead in the eye, "And you're listening because it's a huge part of our history and a big part of Ash's life."
Tyler glares daggers at Griffyn and her eyes turn a pale yellow. Griff glares right back. His eyes, however, remain green. Hours seem to go by before Ty lowers glare. Suddenly she's on Griff and has him pinned against the wall. I rush toward her only to be shoved back by Tyler. "If you tell her, I swear I'll kill you."
She winds back and punches Griff in the face. I jump at her, "Stop it!" I yell.
Where on Earth is Mom? I pull at Ty, but it makes no difference. Suddenly, Griff shoves Ty and she's halfway across the room. His nose is bleeding and he's angrier than I've ever seen him. I step back towards the farthest corner away from them.
Griff wipes the blood from his nose "Well she needs to learn sometime soon otherwise she's gonna blow up the whole city."
"Griffyn," Tyler sounds concerned now, "What if she's not ready? What if she decides to leave?"
"Well I can't decide anything until I know my choices so maybe you should just tell me." I say trying to keep my voice low.
They both look at me startled as if noticing me for the first time. Tyler takes a deep breath and apologizes to Griff for punching him.
I know that if Griffyn had fought back he would've won. And the house wouldn't be here. Tyler looks defeated.
She looks at Griff then back at me than Griff again sighing she mutters, "If she leaves, it's your fault. Mom will never forgive you. I will never forgive you. And you'll never forgive yourself."
Griff hesitates, then takes a deep breath and begins revealing the biggest part of Myron history.
