Once

Prologue

There's many classifications and kinds of first times. First times, sometimes felt so surreal. That you'll eventually realize how too good it is to be true. There will always be a once in our lives, like how stories started in every fairytale. Something that is similar with their "Once upon a time..." comes our own version. And I considered rejection as mine.

What am I? Am I a stalker? Am I some sort of a pathetic loser who is dreaming to have a guy like him? You can say yes. But I refuse to agree.

Well, I am just a less than ordinary kind of girl, shoving her thoughts away about this almost perfect guy.

It's so childish, right? I know.

But one day, I don't know what has gotten into him. I just found out that he is looking for me. Syempre, kinilig ako. Sinong tanga ang hindi kikiligin. Beh, chance ko na 'yon!

Only that positive thoughts continuously flashed in my mind until he's already in front of me. I got my wide smile with me while facing him.

His stares makes my knees melt. "I will only tell you this once." he started with a serious face. "I don't like you." he added that breaks my heart into fucking pieces.

Yeah, that's all and he left me. The crowd which most are girls are laughing at me. I even overheard that this is what I get from aiming too high.

Kasi nga naman ilusyunada ako.
