Payton awoke to a pounding sound. She rubbed her eyes and swung her feet onto the warm carpet. She eased out of her bedroom and to the door, "Yes?" she opened it with a question.
Page and Trevor stared at Payton. Payton slapped her hand against her forehead.
"Oh! I'm so sorry." she cried, and grabbed her coat, "Okay, we can go."
Page scanned Payton's body, "In your pajama's?"
Payton's face lit up red, "Uh, y-yeah." she replied with a sheepish smile."Payton," Page said scoldingly, "no."
Page grabbed Payton's arm and tugged her inside. She quickly went to the closest and waited for Payton to pick something out.
She put on some old jeans and a old plain shirt. "What do you think?" Payton asked.
Page had her makeup done, hair in a tight bun, and a pink crop top with denim shorts, "It will have to do." she shrugged.
The two laughed and went to Trevor. He was reading a book, "It's raining outside." he stated.
"Thanks Captain Obvious." Page replied, pointing to a window.Page worked at the dance studio, she was an instructor.
Trevor looked at his watch, "Come on." he said, ignoring Page's sarcasm.
They all crammed into Trevor's truck, and pulled off.
They arrived at the veterinarian station, and Page jumped out and ran down the street. Payton and Trevor walked into the veterinarian station.
It was twelve o'clock, and Payton went into the back and grabbed a lab coat, "I'm here." she said hurriedly and looked over at the lead veterinarian.
He smiled, it was Chase, "Don't worry, Payton. You're exactly on time."
Payton sighed, "Thanks Ch-" she stopped herself, "Mr. Baltimore."
"You're welcome, Miss Carver." he replied with a smirk.
Payton worked a normal day helping Chase. Suddenly, she sat at the desk up front and talked to Jessica.
"Oh!" Jessica exclaimed and adjusted her glasses, they were hot pink. She grabbed a note and handed it to her, "This was left for you."
Payton suspiciously picked it up and read it in her head, 'Hey, party at my house tomorrow at six, bring the gang' it was signed by Kyle. Payton got off at four, so that timed out perfectly.
Payton looked at Jessica, "You're invited to a party."
Jessica looked up, surprised, "Really? By who?"
Payton smirked, "By the president."
Jessica's brow furrowed, "Who? Really."
Payton handed it to her. "Kyle? He is always full of surprises."
Kyle was rich, and always had the best parties.
It was three-thirty. "Hey, Chase," Payton called out as he walked by, "party at Kyle's tomorrow at six."
"What about Trevor? Page? Brooke?" Chase asked and opened the door.
He came in thirty minutes early and got to leave thirty minutes early.
"They're invited, too, we're all invited. Kyle is all of our friend. Why wouldn't he invite them?" Payton asked.
"Well, is it with all his rich friends? We wouldn't get along that well." he replied. Chase got into a fight with one of Kyle's rich buddies. Chase made one friend through Kyle's rich friend, but also made an enemy.
