Diana said, "We're going to church. Ever since we moved away, I've missed it."
"Don't worry. I'll be here." Trevor replied. Diana and Kenneth walked out the door.
Trevor was watching TV. Suddenly, Payton groggily walked in. She had changed, took a shower, and everything. She was still tired, though.
"You slept all day." he pointed to the clock. It was one o'clock."Where's the food?" Payton asked, ignoring his statement.
"In your parents, and my, stomachs."
Payton frowned and grabbed cereal. After eating it, she sat down and stroked Barney.
"Last night was..." she looked at him with a chuckle, "fun."
Someone knocked on the door, and Trevor opened it, "Chase?" Trevor asked confused.
"Page, Brooke, Jessica, Chase, Kyle?" Trevor looked at the gang.
Payton remembered she invited them over. Payton sheepishly smiled, as she forgot to tell anyone. They all walked in.
Page looked at Payton, "Pay, I called you five times." Page said while raising brow curiously.
"Yeah," Payton rubbed her forehead, "I was asleep." she admitted with a sheepish smile.
"Asleep?" Jessica exclaimed and walked up to the conversation. Jessica was amazed that she slept in so late.
"Hey, Pay, can you, well, //do// you want go to the park tomorrow?" Chase asked.
"Why?" she looked up, "Dog park?" Payton asked.
"No, a park. The gang is going." he said.
"Oh," she smiled, "sure. Any occasion?"
Chase chuckled, "No occasion."
A hour later, Diana and Kenneth get home. It's two o'clock. They were surprised by the sudden crowd in the house. Diana and Kenneth scanned the area.
"Who are all these people?" Kenneth asked Trevor.
Trevor scanned the gang, "That's Page and Jessica." He pointed at Page and Jessica in the corner talking away.
"Chase and Kyle." he pointed to the two on the couch talking away.
"And that's Brooke, she's talking to Payton." he pointed to the two sitting and talking in the living room chairs.
"How nice." Diana smiled. Payton rushed up and hugged them. Diana was confused, as was Kenneth. Kenneth voiced his confusion.
"What's that for?" Kenneth asked.
"I just feel bad about yesterday, everything was so awkward." Payton said and Trevor walked away, he felt like he was the reason for the awkwardness."Everyone seems nice." Diana smiled.
"Thanks, Mom." Payton smiled.
Finally everyone left. It was seven o'clock, and everyone had exchanged jokes and stories. Everyone met Payton's parents, so everyone was ready to leave, and so they did leave.
After cleaning up, it was ten, Trevor said, "I'll see you tomorrow."
"We better go, too." Diana and Kenneth agreed.
"Bye." Payton waved. Payton hugged her parents and they kissed her cheeks. Payton kissed theirs, "I love you." Payton said to the two and they returned an, "I love you." then left.
Trevor stopped on the porch and looked back.
"Hey," he said and walked up, "could we," he rubbed the back of his head, "we've been friends for awhile and I'd like to know if we could-"
She cut him off, "date?"
"Yeah!" he exclaimed, as she stated it boldly. Although he quickly looked away in embarrassment at his obvious excitement. "I mean, 'yeah'. If you want to, of course."
"I don't know, I don't want to ruin our friendship." she teased with a smirk.
He couldn't tell if she was serious or not, so he just stared at her.
"Of course, Trev," she said and hugged him, she pulled away, "why couldn't we?"
"Maybe, because, you wouldn't want to." he replied with a brow raised.
"Oh please, Trev," she said with a roll of her eyes and then smiled, "I'll see you tomorrow."
"Yeah." he nodded and kissed her cheek, "see ya', Pay."
"Bye." she waved and walked back in.
She fell asleep with Barney, as she was tired from the day of partying. Right when her head hit the pillow, she was out like a light.
