Payton rushed to get ready, and called in sick as her head began to throb. Her stomach was messed up, and she was weak. After Chase urged her to call the doctor, she finally agreed.
Trevor arrived, she answered as if it were the doctor. "My head hurts, my stomach, and my-" she halted, seeing Trevor.
Trevor hugged her, and gently swept her off her feet, only to put her on the couch. He began making breakfast, a healthy meal. After that, the doctor arrived.
Trevor opened the door, and the man walked in. Trevor stopped him, and began explaining her problems. The doctor examined Payton, and calmly said, "The flu, nothing more."
"Are you sure?" Trevor asked, while carefully scanning Payton.
Payton got up, and asked, "Do I know you?"
The doctor spun around, and shrugged, "Maybe I treated someone you know."
Payton shook her head, "We used to date." she finally remembered, "Until I broke it off." she added with a blush.
The doctor's eyes widened, "Wow. Pay? Is that you?"
Trevor spoke up, "Hey. I'm Trev, 'Pay's' boyfriend. Current, boyfriend." Payton blushed, but nodded, and looked at Trevor with a smile. The doctor nodded in acknowledgement and began to leave.
Payton exclaimed, "Wait!"
The doctor halted and looked back with a brow raised. Payton smiled, "Thanks, how much do I owe you?"
"It's on the house, I'm just passing through." he replied, dipped an invisible hat, and proceeded out the door and to his car. Trevor sighed relievedly, and got on one knee. He pulled a long, slender, small, concealed box out of his pocket.
Payton's hand covered her mouth as she gasped, "Trevor, I'm ready to be married." she excitedly said, "Yes!". His eyes widened and he raised to his feet. He opened it to reveal a necklace. Payton sighed in embarrassment.
Trevor asked, "I want to move in," he admitted, "I didn't know you were ready for marriage."
"No!" Payton exclaimed, "Move in with me! I'm ready to be married, but it's okay." she hugged him tightly.
Trevor kissed her, their lips touched and it seemed time itself stopped for this moment. Payton and Trevor backed up after a moment went by. Suddenly, the doctor eased the door open, "May I come in?"Trevor gritted his teeth, and wrapped his arm gently around Payton. Payton nodded, and the doctor asked, "Can we go out for some coffee, catch up on some old times?"
Trevor dropped to one knee, turned to Payton. He inched off a ring off his finger. It had a red gem in the middle, gold around it, "Pay, will you marry me?"
Barney rushed over, wagged his tail and licked Trevor's face. Trevor patted Barney's head, and Payton nodded. Trevor hugged her tightly, and the doctor's face reddened. He turned around and stormed out the door.
Trevor slipped the ring onto Payton's finger.
At ten, everyone had been informed. Everyone formed/created a couple name. Trey.
Now, everyone called them Trey, and they actually didn't mind.
It was now night, and Payton rested in her bed. Suddenly, Trevor walked in and rested beside her, Barney jumped up and rested at their feet. Trevor whispered, "Goodnight."
Payton replied, "Goodnight."
They all fell asleep.
