Payton and Trevor awoke and went to church. They returned, and Payton played with the pups; Trevor joined. Trevor rubbed the back of his head, and Payton saw his nervousness, "What's wrong?" she asked.
"Eh," he replied, "nothing." Payton raised a scolding, curious brow. Trevor sighed in defeat, and added, "Well, it's just, I can't believe I have to wait three weeks to be your husband."
Payton smiled, "Yeah," she said, and noticed how small the house seemed, "What if we move? Buy a house somewhere in town?"
Trevor looked up, "You really want to?" he smiled. Payton nodded and they hugged.
"Everything is changing so fast." the two whispered in sync. They laughed in sync, too. The laughter slowly died down. Trevor made sure they had the funds, while Payton began searching online for some houses.
"We agree it needs to be three bedrooms, right?" she asked and looked over at Trevor who was surrounded by papers on the floor. She was on the couch and smirked. She patted the couch, "Sit up here."
Trevor gestured to the papers scattered around, "Unless they can shrink and fit on the couch, I believe I can't." He looked up and saw her staring at the screen, "Found any yet?"
Payton nodded, and turned the laptop screen around. Trevor looked at a beautiful ranch style home. One story home, a white picket fence surrounded it, "How much?" he asked.
Payton frowned, and turned it around, "It has three bedrooms, and 2.5 bath."
Trevor raised a brow, "How much, Pay?"
Payton defeatedly sighed, "It's 100,000." Payton then quickly added, "We'd have 150,000 in savings. Plus, the money you and I already saved up."
Trevor checked some papers, and asked, "Where is it?"
Payton pointed to the map, "It's the other side of town, closer to Chase and Page's, plus it's right beside the dog park."
"Yeah, I remember that house." he said and raised a brow, as she began smiling widely, "What?" he asked.
Payton spun the screen around, and scrolled through pictures. Open floor plan, everywhere was carpeted. The bathroom's were tile. The half bath looked large, but the other's looked even larger with a bath and shower.
Payton then scrolled on to reveal a huge backyard. They had metal swing set, it looked new. The backyard wasn't fenced in by a white picket fence, this time it was large chainlink fences.
They had a large wrap around porch, and the two car garage was right on the other side of the fence. The driveway was large, and Trevor thought he saw something, "Was that a pool?"
Payton laughed "No, just a blue tarp, it won't be there once we move."
Trevor smiled, "Okay, tomorrow we should swing by and see if it looks as good as the pictures show."
Payton sighed, "We've drove by it a million times."
Trevor replied, "But this time we'll pay attention. Contact the owners and tell them we're interested."
Payton nodded, and it was 10:30 a.m. She called everyone-- after she called the owners-- and told their fiends they were moving. Her parents congratulated her on her first home, as her house was gifted to her by her parents.
Payton asked, "Should we drive by now? We can take the pups to the dog park?"
Trevor cleaned up the papers and nodded.
-*-
Lilly and Barney had made friends, but it had just rained. The park was muddy, and Payton saw Barney and Lilly roll around in the mud. Trevor chuckled, "Doggy bath."
Payton smiled, and then whispered, "They have to get into your truck."
Trevor stopped chuckling, arose to his feet and rushed over. He stared at the now wet dogs and gasped. Payton followed and chuckled. Trevor couldn't help but laugh. "Ain't that cute," he said, and gestured, "you have to clean them."
"Me?" Payton exclaimed, and smirked. She pushed him into the mud, it was slippery so he lost his footing and actually went head first into it. He rolled onto his back and wiped it out of his eyes.
Payton gasped, "I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, and offered her hand.
Trevor grabbed it and pulled her in. The dogs joined in and rolled around, too.
Finally, they all got out, looked at each other and chuckled. Trevor spoke up, "I guess we should go get clean." he scanned for something, "Can you get in water?"
Payton nodded, slapped her lap, called the pups, and raced for the water. The pups rushed after her, as did Trevor. They all jumped into the water.
They got into the car, soaking wet. "I rather water than mud." Payton chimed.
Trevor nodded. When they got home it was twelve p.m.
They went out to eat with Brooke and Jessica. After that, it was four p.m. Trevor came back holding a small treat box. Trevor opened it and emptied it into the pups bowls.
Payton sat down and got onto her iPhone. She smiled and Trevor asked, "What's that?"
Payton showed him, it was a picture of Page and her as a kid, "Page posted that on FaceBook."
Trevor smiled, "I remember that picture, I was the one taking it." he chuckled.
Payton chuckled, "You loved taking pictures back then."
Trevor nodded with a smile, "Tomorrow I think I'm going to take the pups around town, want to come?"
"Sure." Payton replied and turned off her phone, she crawled on the floor and played with the pups. Trevor watched T.V until a toy hit his head. He surprisingly grabbed it, before it fell to the floor, and flung it back at Payton with a smirk. He played with the pups and Payton.
After eating and doing other things, it was seven. Trevor heard someone at the door. He opened it, "Hey," Trevor said and opened the door wider, Jessica walked in.
"Hey." Jessica replied back, and sat down, "Guys, I had the best idea."
Trevor and Payton raised a brow.
Jessica explained, "Have you picked out where your location for the wedding is?"
"Yeah." Payton nodded.
Jessica's eyes widened, "Oh, never mind. Bye." she said and waved.
Trevor and Payton said goodbye and then Jessica left. Payton looked over, "Strange." It was now ten, they watched movie's and ate. They all went to sleep.
