Once Kanaya adapted the troll calendar to fit the human one, it was discovered that Karkat's wriggling day lands right on 4/13 every other year. Though he was dead before this was realized, Doc scratch knew this ahead of time, and found it funny that most of what we see in Homestuck takes place on 4/13. Terezi also found it odd that both John and Karkat share this celebratory date, considering she had flirted caliginous with both at some point or another.
