By the suggestion of a doomed Dirk, Eridan played Undertale in the dream bubbles. He went for a genocide route and began to regret his plans for genocide, especially when he learned that Chara would haunt every ending. It reminded him of how his friends never forgave him while they were still alive. No matter how many times he redid the pacifist route, Chara's face was always there. This story had a happy ending. After this, he finally built up the courage to apologize to all of the people he had killed(apologizing to doomed timeline people he had killed as well whenever possible). This was truly touching.
