Humanstuck!Karkat is diabetic, and he's embarrassed about it.
He and Terezi have an agreement that if he says a code word, she will make an excuse to get him leave so he can stealthily take his meds. They have another code so that she will act to make sure he isn't embarrassed if his blood sugar is too high and he can't have sweets with the rest of his friends(example: Everyone's going to DQ for a deal that gives out free ice cream, Karkat says the Code word and she will stay back with him and go somewhere else)
((This turned into Karezi and now I'm all fuzzy. It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic though.
