Doctor Doctor

Rydel's pov

I lay in bed biting away at my nails, feeling the breeze from the fan slide through my bunk curtains. I can hear conversations in the kitchen going on about me but I don't care to listen. I let out a slight whimper as I think about the past couple of days. I hear an unfamiliar voice talking and realize that the bus has been stopped for a while, we must be in Denmark. I hear loud footsteps and can soon feel there is someone right outside my bunk. "Rydel, babes?" Emily asks but I don't answer. I see the curtain being pushed open and see Emily and an older lady holding a brief case. "Del, this is Doctor. Watson, she's here to help you with whatever has been happening. Now we're just gonna shut this door and leave you until Doctor. Watson comes and gets us" Emily says as I sigh in relief, I'm getting help!

The family follow Emily out the door and Ross shuts it behind him and Doctor. Watson sits on the bed. "Rydel, honey. It's so nice to meet you and I'm so sorry about what has happened but I'll figure out whatever it is and help you cope with it as soon as possible, okay?" she says as I just nod my head. "So tell me what's been happening?" She asks  "well I'm usually very bubbly and happy, but lately I haven't been my usual self, not laughing, not talking, not eating and constantly wanting to stay in bed" I say everything as she writes down notes. "Have you taken any new medications recently?" She asks as I think "well yeah, I've swapped birth controls because I couldn't get my regular one at the time I needed it" I reply and tell her the name of the current one I'm using. "Right okay okay, what is your usual one, I'll write you a script. I want you to stop the new one immediately. I think that's what's causing this" the doctor replies as I look at her confused "seriously? All this because of a medication?" I ask annoyed. "Well yes, a birth control pill. You swapped rapidly and your hormones are through the roof" she responds "okay wow, that makes sense" I reply feeling like an idiot. We chat for a little bit longer and then she writes me a script. I thanks her as she walks out. I hear her talking to the others and then leave. They all come in at once and sit by my bed "del, baby girl. I love you so much" Ell says as a small but fake smile appears across my face. "We're all here for you delly" Ross says as I pull the same smile again. "God this is so embarrassing" I say feeling guilty. "There is nothing to be embarrassed about, we couldn't have known, you couldn't have known. Now you'll be feeling better in just a few days" Emily says as I pull her in for a hug.

Emily's pov

After our chat with Rydel I go outside for some fresh air. I have something to tell Ross and want to wait for the right time. I walk outside the bus to see a girl with black hair examining the outside of the bus, not able to see her face I stare at her confused. "Hey, can I help... Youuuu!" I say shocked as I look at the person who is standing in front of me. It is Courtney. I thought she was in jail, how is this possible? "Hey Em, look I'm really sorry about everything that happened and I really hope you can forgive me and we can move on from it" she says as I step back. "I'm not so sure about that" I reply feeling uneasy "please I really am sorry, I've recently got out of jail on good behaviour and I've just been trying to build my life up and I thought first stop would be a holiday, I recognized the bus and hoped I would get a chance to see you and tell you how sorry I am" she says. It sounds extremely genuine.

I know for a fact Ross will not like this, he knows about everything she has done and I don't want to ruin our relationship for her. "Hey babe, wanna go for a ... COURTNEY?" Ross screams angrily.
