It had been nearly twenty four hours since Stan had died, and no one wanted to speak of his death. In fact, it seemed as though no one was speaking at all that day.

Mabel hadn't even gotten up yet, and it was now mid afternoon, and Dipper wouldn't speak to Cif, who was confused, and felt extremely awkward in this setting. Two children, children Cif had only known for a few weeks, have had one of their close family members taken from them and Cif couldn't help but feel somewhat responsible.

Dipper refused to call his parents, knowing no one else should enter the town at the time, and he had told Cif not to call her mother either, though Cif wanted to. More than anything, Cif wanted to be home in Vermont, sitting in front of the fireplace talking to her two younger brothers.

Why didn't either of Cif's brothers have to go with her to this awful place? Her mother said it was because they were so young, though Cif still found it unfair, not that she would want her family in Gravity Falls, not now and not ever.

Cif walked out of the family room and into the shop to see Dipper sitting behind the desk, staring off into space blankly.

"Hey, Dipper?" Cif asked after a moment.

Dipper looked at her flatly, a look of sorrow on his face. Cif had never seen Dipper like this and she didn't like it, it just didn't seem right.

"Dipper?" Cif repeated, a little louder.

Dipper acknowledged her this time. "What is it?" He mumbled.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing?" Cif told him.

Dipper shook his head sadly. "Stan's gone, and I miss him more than I ever thought I would."

Cif sighed, feeling bad for Dipper. "I know," she answered quietly in her usual soft voice, "I'm sorry, Dipper, I really am."

After a moment, there was a sudden gust of wind, blowing the door of the shack open swiftly. The sun disappeared from the sky in nearly seconds and was replaced by the darkest clouds Cif had ever seen. The air became cold and unearthly and pouring rain started to be blown in through the door as it was held open by the harsh wind.

"What the hell is going on?" Cif nearly shouted over the rain.

Dipper stared outside through the window. "I don't know," he shouted back.

Mabel came running down the stairs, terrified. "Are you guys okay?" She asked, looking at Dipper and Cif.

They both nodded, and Dipper stood up to lock the door, but stopped suddenly as he looked out the window.

Dipper looked at Cif only seconds later, an expression of terror in his eyes. "Cif, go outside," He said seriously.

"What?" Cif asked, shocked, "Why?"

Dipper stared at her, still horrified. "Go outside, now." He spoke in a voice that scared Cif, for she had never heard him talk so seriously.

Cif just nodded, and walked outside slowly, her entire body shaking. Dipper and Mabel watched her silently, not knowing what to say, and in shock, for they both knew what was happening, and Cif had a feeling she knew too.

When Cif arrived outside, she saw an unearthly, demonic glow appear in the gray sky.

It was Bill.

It's happening, Cif thought. The legend was beginning.

Everyone seemed to be outside, staring at Bill, staring at Cif, some people were completely confused, some people were aware of what was happening, some  were terrified, and some were all. three.

The glow in the sky developed sharp edges, looking more and more like the All Seeing Eye.

Bill, who looked extremely different from usual, for he was much more demonic than the way Cif had seen him before, spoke in a very dark, evil voice.

"Gravity Falls..." Bill said very quietly, "I have returned..."
