Chapter 39: Earrings (pt.2)

Stella's P.O.V

"Are you hurt somehwere? Why are your eyes tearing up? Did something happen?" Appa showered me with questions as we walk inside the car.

Apparently, he saw my eyes after Himchan left. My eyes were close to tearing up when my appa saw me.

He kept asking me if I was okay, I just kept nodding my head at him. I can't just say that I saw Himchan with a girl, it's too little of a reason to get upset over. And other than that, my appa would definitely question who Himchan is.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes, appa. I'm just. . . . tired from shopping. I think I need to rest."

I looked outside the car window. We were just leaving the mall, and the car just so happens to go through the entrance of the mall.

As I looked outside, I saw a familiar body structure of the girl. Himchan's girlfriend.

The car suddenly stopped, which made me stare at the girl a little longer. She was all alone. Where was Himchan, when his girlfriend needed him? He's such an irresponsible boyfriend.

But a few seconds later, there was a guy wearing a hoodie who walked towards the girl. The guy also looked familiar.

The guy removed his hoodie and smiled at the girl. My mouth fell open and my eyes went wide. It was Min Hyuk. What was he doing here? And the question that bothers me most: Why was he meeting up with Himchan's girlfriend?

The car started to move again, but my gaze remained on them. Was the girl, perhaps, two timing on Himchan and Min Hyuk?

My mind was still processing what I had just seen. I hadn't noticed that the car was parked outside the mansion. I only noticed when the door was opened and the maids were waiting for me to walk out.

"Welcome back Miss Stella!" They all cheered when I walked in through the doors of the mansion. There were 2 lines composing of the maids, on both sides of the entrance. It was as if they prepared this, before I can even go home.

I smiled at every single one of them.

"Thank you." I said and bowed.

"Stella, I'll be back later. I have a few businesses to take care of." Appa said before I could walk any further into the house. I nodded at him and watched as he walked towards his office room.

I continued to walk, with the company of the maids, the chefs, the drivers and other people who work for my appa.

"We've prepared food for the return of Miss Stella. We hope you like them." The chefs said as I entered the kitchen and dining room.

I stared in awe at the table infront of me. It was filled with lots of food. From normal street foods, to 5-star restaurant recipes. There were also pastries, lots and lots of pastries. Just by looking at all these, it was enough to make my mouth water.

"Please eat well~" The maid went to one of the chairs and pulled it for me to sit on. At first I was shy, but they forced me (in a nice way) to sit on the chair.

"Thank you for the food." I said before I started to take a bite out of everything.

It felt awkward having lots of people watch you while you eat. And the fact that they said it was all for me, they don't even let themselves take a bite of the food they prepared all day.

"Please eat with me. It's hard for me that all of you who prepared these foods aren't able to eat what you've prepared." Some of them shook their heads and looked at the ground as if they were shy.
