I was waken up early in the morning by my mother knocking on my door loudly.
"Get up! Get ready! We need to leave!" She shouted at me before walking away. I groaned silently and curled up deeper into my bed: enjoying the warmth. It reminded me of being with Charlie and Dalton the other day. The warmth that they surround me with when we were all laying on Dalton's big bed was comforting to where I fell asleep.
I hated Mondays. My mother always knew that I didn't have work on this day. I should really ask Diana about fixing that so that I can work and not be dragged to all of Peaches's events. I hate being forced to watch Peaches while sitting in the corner like some disciplined child who was grounded for drawing on the walls.
"Mom! I can't find my black pumps!" Peaches started to shout this time and finally I decided it was time to get up and out of bed. There was no way I was going to get out of this and with those two shouting and ranting I was never going to be able to fall back asleep.
"Which ones?!"
"The ones with the cute bows, of course! The other thirty-two pairs of black pumps would never fit, duh!"
As I dragged myself out of my bed, it's like my phone knew because it started to go off. The ringtone brought a smile to my face. I had set it to a default ringtone of some engine revving for Dalton's number. The phone sounded like the engine and I knew that it was him.
"Hello?" Wow, it wasn't even eight o'clock yet and I was smiling. The things that this boy was doing to me made life look better in my eyes. I didn't have to dread every day because I had someone to call and talk to who wanted to listen and be there for me. Dalton showed me so much care and affection that it was making my life much happier and joyful. Even if my mother and Peaches threw me into a bad mood, he was able to pick it back up.
"Good morning Angel," A deep sleepy voice spoke, then the sound of a yawn came through. It sounded like he had just gotten up and it made me giggle.
"You sound sleepy," I spoke with going into my closet to get some clothes to wear. I decided on something simple so that I could blend into the crowd of people of where ever we were going. I grabbed dark skinny jeans, a black tight shirt, white tank top, and then my usual shoes.
"I just woke up," His voice strained as he stretched. My phone was placed on the shelf while on speaker so that I could change.
"Oh?" I said.
"Yeah, I woke up and there was only one thing on my mind."
"What's that?" I questioned.
"You," I could hear the smile in his voice. I could feel myself grow warm with delight as the corner of my lips turned up at what he spoke.
"Why?" It came out a little high pitched and it sounded weird in my voice. What was this man doing to me? He was bringing out this girly happy side of myself. Now, I don't hate it. He just makes me so comfortable with myself and my body.
"Everything about you is just...mmm...I don't know how to say it Angel. You're so sweet, caring, hard-working, thoughtful, and friendly. My parents are in love with you and so is Charlie. Charlie's a hard man to get pass, he's like my mother except with girls I've dated." A soft pleasant chuckle filled the room as I fitted the black shirt over myself. My cheeks were warm and my whole body tingled from the compliments he was giving me. "But he loves you. I had a dream about us last night and I woke up and you were the first thing on my mind. The dream I had just made me grin so much at the thought of it."
